Things You Hate About Porn

And also the fact there is more to porn than just sex. There is pictures, videos and stories of practically anything one can think of. Some of it is real, some of it is fake. It's usually not hard to tell the difference.

However....muting and redubbing porn yourself with friends is fricken hilarious.

Don't get me wrong, I love sex. I just don't like it in my porn.
Okay, i'm weird, I know. But I just never understood the appeal of watching other people have sex with each other. I do enjoy watching people wet or mess themselves, or girls masturbating, if they are alone... but I mostly enjoy just looking at pictures of the former so I can create the plot myself in my head rather than having some stupid corny one relayed to me.
I have very specific fantasies, and if I see a beautiful girl, I want to imagine myself playing them out with her, not some butch chick or frat boy looking dude.
....also, I just realized I never masturbate to fantasies/videos/pictures of men, which is kind of weird. i'm bisexual, but all of my long term relationships have been straight ones. my boyfriend says he thinks my heart and brain are straight and my girly parts are gay.

Now I may have mentioned this before, but I think the B*E*S*T "sex" film I have ever seen, and it wasn't intended as such, and was rater "R" was a film called "Damage" with Jeremy Irons. It was just a regular "film" but the PASSION between the main characters was stunning and truly arousing. I think if 'porn' were more of this caliber it would be more 'accepted as an "art form, which it desperately yet unsuccessfully tries to do
The link to the Imdb page for "Damage" is here:

Watch it to see what I'm talking about....it's so well done you really can 'feel' the passion and attraction these 2 have for each other. Something much lacking in most everything else.

I'm the same way. Especially when it comes to fetish stuff. I don't like pics or videos of guys in diapers, does nothing for me. A girl in a wet or messy diaper, though, really gets my juices flowing. I'm not gay, but apparently my girls parts are too
I don't think it's weird. I once had a guy friend confess to me that he entertained gay sex fantasies while he masturbated, even though he was completely straight.

That's actually very understandable, Lovelylittle. Although I do watch porn with actual intercourse, I usually use it as filler to prolong an erection in order to have a more intense orgasm. I'd say how long I was prolonging an erection, but most people here probably wouldn't believe me, and would probably think I was lying about my sexual stamina. What I hate about porn: sex. Lol.

A close female friend of mine once put it like this--"dicks are ugly and utilitarian--they feel great, but they look terrible." She added that even one of her straightest female friends didn't get anything from porn with guys in it. This is a pretty common reaction from what I understand, and like I said before, it's not uncommon for people to dislike watching sex even if they enjoy sex themselves. This doesn't just apply to straight people though, but to those with other sexual preferences as well.
I also tend to enjoy pictures (or muted video) as well for many of the same reasons that you've mentioned--and this is coming from someone who actually works with film/video. Oh and another thing that ruins porn videos for me is shaky cameras. I'll ignore it if the video was done by an amateur who probably doesn't know any better, but when a professional does it, it looks like a bad imitation of something Michael Bay would shoot.
See above, SexyInDiapers1985--this is a pretty common thing.I'm the same way. Especially when it comes to fetish stuff. I don't like pics or videos of guys in diapers, does nothing for me. As far as straight people watching gay sex including straight men watching gay male sex, I would think that it may be a bit more common then people would admit as well. Speaking as someone whose completely straight, I can probably think of two times when a video involving a male has actually done anything for me. The first was an amateur video involving masturbation with a bloody Maxipad. The video *worked* because the guy never showed anything other than his dick and the used pad, and he kept the dialogue to about a single sentence or so--it was easy enough for me to "put myself into the scene" if you will. (Normally POV porn does nothing for me--this was a really weird exception.) The second video didn't contain any sex at all--just a lot of really wet diapers that were a ton of fun to look at. I still would rather watch women though, but I doubt I'll ever see a woman do a video like the first one, and the second one was fun because of the diapers that were being used--not because of the person using them. (Nothing against him of course.)
I knew a sociology professor who once mentioned a theory that "everyone's a little gay," and that kind of holds true. The line of thought kind of went like this: If you're straight, you probably want to see a big dick in your porn, right? Well if you answered yes, that'd be a little gay because you'd want to see a large dick, and if you answered no, you'd be a little gay because penis size is seen as a status symbol among straight males. Those who answered that they didn't want to see any penises in their porn would be considered "very gay" because of the implication that the porn would then focus solely on females. And now I think I've just over thought porn.

But I've noticed that for me to like anything male related, he has to have a feminine aspect to him. Either his body shape, the way he dresses, or personality.
Testosterone-y guys make me wretch.

What turns me on is love, and from love comes passion. Passionate sex is what I find to be gratifying. I also enjoy sex for complete pleasure, not for cash -- and not certainly for the cameras. One of the reasons I like amateur/homemade porn is that people will put the cameras on themselves because they enjoy doing it, and that turns them on. When they're turned on, I'm turned on. When it's real, I'm turned on.
Also, porn music really kills it.

Personally, I'm bisexual. (Although pansexual might fit better)

Same, but then again I'm more into girls than guys.

I like watching porn if the people involved seem to be enjoying themselves. I don't like guys who abuse women, even slapping them on the ass is just weird to me. Obvious posing is a tun-off. Sometimes I prefer to watch people solo - and while I prefer to watch women, I am curious about guys who have fetishes similar to mine.
