sonofninasayers
Whenever I have a little nap on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon as they are the only time during the week that I get the chance to have a nap and sometimes when I want to settle down for the night but I find it hard to fall asleep and as soon as I close my eyes I'm awake again and I was wondering has the same ever happened to anyone else Link to comment
Kaidus
In my case, I get my brain to be quiet, so what helps me is playing soothing music whether there's vocals or not; it works every time. Link to comment
Dill_Pickle
Well, if you take an afternoon nap and you are then not ready to sleep at night, that's not too surprising. Link to comment
Nat
I have a hard time with sleeping. Link to comment
kevindhca
The sleeping part is ok for me, I sleep very deep, but I have trouble getting enough sleep. I wake up too early, like 4 am, and once awake I cannot go back to sleep. Link to comment
widdlemikey
Part of my sleep ritual is to diaper. Link to comment
Dill_Pickle
Widdlemikey, us big ones need ritual too! Lol My mother also complains that if she wakes after a certain point in the night, she cannot return to sleep. "set and setting'" make a big difference, too..if you aren't feeling safe, you won't sleep well...every little something will bring you half awake. So add a white noise generator (or a HEPA filter) to my list f sleep aids...along with a glass of milk. Link to comment

Bettypooh
I have problems with insomnia, and I always have. Naps sometimes make me feel better when I need the extra rest, but they can also destroy my sleep at night, making me worse off than I would have been And I can never tell which way that will go. A nap and a bad night's sleep two days ago ruined my day yesterday- I felt awful, couldn't work the whole day as I needed to because my back wasn't rested enough, and it made me miserable to be around And for those with depression, regular sleeping habits go a long way to keep the depression at bay; it's one of the more powerful 'triggers' that can bring on a bout of depression Link to comment
rusty pins
You might all want to try a product called Midnite. Link to comment
IncontinentGM24
I don't believe that non-harmful and non-habit forming part. There's just not enough evidence to support that that's true. Or that it's universal. Feel free to stick was saying that they haven't proven that it's harmful or that it's habit-forming, but to say that it isn't's, is just a problem. Link to comment
