  1. Interesting. You might want to make a separate post about your experiences with this supplier just in case someone else is considering them. They might not have read this one. Thanks for sharing. Ruffles
  2. A pleasant post and kind thing for you to do. Thanks for sharing. ***HUGS*** Ruffles
  3. I've done the real thing a few times but, like many others, don't care for the clean-up too much and the smell runs the wife off. Can't blame her there. We were into the oatmeal thing for a while but I usually have to change shortly after or have an even bigger mess if it leaks out during the night. Then i feel like I've wasted the diaper before it's time, so to speak. Here's something that gets me though. I've seen threads in the past that deals with the use of various foodstuffs and what gets me is when someone replies that they are bothered by the waste of food. What I find interesting is that they consider it wrong to waste food but, on the other hand, see nothing wrong for somebody who is not incontinent to spend even more money on diapers. Maybe it's just me but I find that a bit ironic.
  4. Got an email from PayPal yesterday. Gotta give them a thumbs-up. Got my full amount credited back to me. To be honest, I really didn't think I'd see that money again. So, if you ever buy anything via PayPal and the transaction goes awry, definitely let PayPal know about it. Cheers! Ruffles
  5. I seem to recall Diaper Station carrying this sort of product but I don't remember the sizes. Unfortunately, they're also going through a "reorganization" at this time and I've no idea when they'll be back up for business. You might keep checking back with them though. http://www.diaperstation.com/ Another alternative, if you know anybody who does sewing, is have some made up for you. WalMart carries lots of fabric in babyish prints and another nice source is an Ebay store by name of: http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Fabrics-From-T...t__W0QQ_armrsZ1 Good luck! Ruffles
  6. Here's a wonderful shoe source if you like the old 50's style saddle shoes. They also have some with heels, for those who prefer them, along with Mary janes and other miscellaneous styles suitable for folks like us. I hope to do some shopping here real soon! http://www.muffys.com/ Here are some more selections I have found: http://www.shoebuy.com/softwalk-mary-jane/34873 http://www.allheelsformen.com/Merchant2/me...;Category_Code= http://www.nextag.com/All~mary+jane+shoesz...23uszmainz5-htm http://www.shoeparlor.com/istar.asp?a=29 http://www.shoebuy.com/softwalk-mary-jane/34873 http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/2805647?origin=shoppingbag Hope these help you find what you're looking for. ***HUGS*** Ruffles
  7. Also, if you don't have a onesie, firm control panties, bicycle shorts, or a girdle does wonders too. I often wear the latter when working outside without a onesie. Also helps compress the diaper so less bulge is showing through my jeans. Enjoy and good luck! Ruffles
  8. I'd certainly be willing to give them a try. Do they have sample packs? Also, would you mind providing a link to the supplier? Thanks you. Cheers! Ruffles
  9. Hi Tom If you think those Depends were comfortable, you haven't felt anything yet. I wore the Wal Mart variety for quite some time and thought all was fine until I broke down and tried better. Do yourself a favor and try either the Molicares, Abenas, or Bambinos. They are available in sample packs so you don't have to shell out a lot of money for a test-drive. I know, the Depends seem fine for you now, but then, peanut butter and jelly is just fine until you taste filet mignon. Then there's no going back. Try them, you won't regret it. Molicares and Abenas http://www.xpmedical.com/ Bambinos http://bambinodiapers.com/ Welcome to the club. You're not alone sweety! ***HUGS*** Ruffles
  10. You might contact Mike at http://fetware.com/ I recently approached him about stocking 3" pins (giving him the overseas source where I'd got mine) and he was very responsive to the idea. We corresponded some more and by our last conversation it looked pretty definite that he was going to be acquiring a large quantity of them (probably already ordered). Here's what he will be getting (the larger one in the picture): Tell him I sent you. Ruffles aka: Mike
  11. I would simply call or email the company and explain your situation as you have here. Perhaps they'll have you send them back in a different package, or work out another arrangement. Not having dealt with Drugstore.com, I cannot say. I always buy from XP medical and have never seen what you have described. I did have a problem with a shipment from them once (no fault of theirs) and they were very quick to remedy the situation. Good luck!
  12. Desitin http://www.desitin.com/ Works great! When I first started using it, I would apply it to a rash and it would clear up overnight. Later, I started using it when getting diapered and from that day forward, it is extremely rare when I get a rash. I have never had it stain my cloth diapers in any way and it doesn't appear to have any effect on plastic pants either; if so, it is almost indetectable. The stuff also works great for clearing up razor burn and other heat-type rashes. Doesn't do a thing for poison ivy though. Good luck! ***HUGS*** Ruffles
  13. Happy birthday sweety! Best wishes and ***HUGS*** Ruffles
  14. Granted: Your poo smells significantly better but alas, you've developed allergic reactions to eating anything other than flower petals and you fart a lot. On the other hand, people enjoy having you over as you're now a walking room deodorizer. =============================================================================== I wish I were very petite and dominated by a controlling "mommy" with a penchant for corset training, diapers, petticoats, and little girl Easter dresses.
  15. Update to the initial post: Today at 1:20 pm, I escalated the "item not received dispute" to a "claim." At this stage, PayPal steps in and does what they can to resolve the case. Interestingly enough, at 1:57 PM, I finally received an email acknowledging the order from the ABDL Mall of America. No apologies or explanations, but at least its more than I had before. This is the first time I have seen correspondence of any kind from them since the order was placed over a month ago on February 28. Perhaps PayPal has some leverage or just a coincidence? I'll probably never know. I DO know that I'm not discontinuing the claim with PayPal until I have received my order. Incidently, a little while ago I noticed that their website is now back online; not that I'm going to be doing business with them anymore. Hopefully, I will see my order soon.
