    • Hi and welcome to DD. Nice to meet you, glad to have you join us. Come on in, grab a high chair. Lots of good likeminded people here. Relax, have fun, and enjoy!
    • The principal beat her to her friend eh?... For some reason, I can see that happening to a certain cousin soon...  Or perhaps a board member, even.
    • Stephanie quickly assembled a plate with cut pieces and put it in front of the boy before giving him a spoon and a sippy cup. "Do you think he will need a bib?"  "Better be safe then sorry, I guess." Lydia agreed, seeing at how sleepy the boy still was and went to put one on him before she settled with her own plate and tucked in.
    • Understanding comes when you accept that others are also going through difficult times, regardless of what your own are like. In the place where I work now, the next four weeks will be about collecting taxes by going to people's homes. People are even trained for a day beforehand so that they don't get too emotionally involved. Fortunately, that's not the case for me, as I don't see the people, just the tax cases. Whether this is comparable to what you do, I don't know, as for reasons and by all rights you don't tell people what you do. Nonetheless, we can both understand when people say that we're in for a tough few weeks. And above all, you live in the USA. This means that your working week can be 60 hours, 6-7 days a week due to the lack of employee rights in the USA. For me, it's a maximum of 40 hours over 5 days. I'm digressing again. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it won't be that bad.
