  1. Are Abena still stiff and thick BC (Before COVID)?
  2. My problem is that I have a Sleep Number bed that cost $10,000. The base, which has a remote to move the feet and head up and and down cost $4,000. The mattress was $6,000: I can make the mattress as firm or as soft as I want (it's essentially an air mattress inside the mattress). If I wet, there may be sparks flying and I really don't want to ruin it. I did buy a mattress protector, but the way the plastic threads are weaved (probably done so it breathes), the threads are not perfectly tight, so water will eventually work it's way through. I did buy a 34x36 pad, but it's kind of small and it might leak too. I have not tried it. My second problem is I do not like the bulk between the legs as I am a side sleeper. Are there any super thin ones that are very soft?
  3. Attends has some that are blue.
  4. I wore plain white over my cloth diapers. Around 3rd grade, I found some frilly snap ones in my closet that I could fit into. Those were fab.
  5. Some of them look pretty well worn and off white color. Her bio "Meet the tester" at the bottom says her father was a disabled Army veteran. Also, one of the summaries mention heavy flow.
  6. Now I know why I pee a bit more often. Last week my blood test revealed A1c of 5.8. I kind of knew it was high as my wife cooks starchy foods all the time. I have always had great control, but it's kind of annoying as the sensation is almost always there. Especially at night, when I wake up I have issues starting and then fully emptying. I guess the bladder relaxes and is able to get bigger when laying down. So, I got back to bed with a half empty bladder and then wake up again several hours later to try some more. I do have a BM in the morning, so I think that is putting pressure on it (?). I just cannot wear at night because of the bulk between the legs. I did find some super thin pull up and Attends which are somewhat bearable. Maybe I could get a booster and wrap it around. The only time I go out is work and lunch on either Saturday or Sunday. For the weekends, sometimes I have pull up on, recently I have not. I regretted it last weekend as the mall bathroom was closed and I had to walk to the middle (which about 200 meters from the bathrooms) and tell my wife and then walk to the other end of the mall to a department store. I got there and tried to go, though as I had been holding it a long time I found it hard to go. I actually had a pull up on, but rarely use it outside home. In this case I should of. I think walking, not necessarily briskly, might have made me not go as well as I could of (and the sensation of the pull up). Of course, I've been out walking and almost wet my pants. We know it's not natural to wet our pants, but I guess it's a stigmatism we have to get over. But the sensation to go is almost always there and the pull ups help calm those fears. Ugh.
  7. Were you not working before? How often are you going to not be a near a toilet?
  8. The problem is if they all try to go through at the same time. Ha, they improved it. I bought one that claimed it was n golf balls. Somehow my wife managed to plug it up one day. What a huge mess. She tried to continue to flush it and it backed up into the rim and holes. Now, we have black stuff and mold that grows such that every two weeks we have to really clean them. I poured bleach down the return pipe or whatever (not on the flange tank area) and it works for about a month. There is a flush or fluidmaster thingy with bleach tablets, which worked pretty good, but don't want to spend money all the time on it.
  9. I enjoy them wet, but others mentioned potential issues with skin. Which is another reason I prefer pull ups. The primary reason I prefer pull ups is that they stay on and are generally more breathable. I usually wear a night time one during the day so at least it can do several hours and not have to change as often. I have excellent continence so I can be very full and need that extra absorption.
  10. Anything gender positive and age appropriate (real age)...maybe some neutral too. As in I recently bought some light purple Attends, which are acceptable. Absorbency not so much.
  11. Amazon overnight (thickish ~ $0.95) or day time (thin ~ $0.65). The Depend guards are pretty thick. Try a super long booster and wrap it around it. I used to use Abena pull up 5+ years ago, which came up kind of high.
  12. I look at water and feel the urge. I've read that with my glaucoma I should be careful and not drink too much at once. What a pain.
  13. Last Tuesday morning when we had snow coming down, I put on my Amazon overnight pull up as usual (well, I determined my situation for that morning was going to need that level of absorbency, otherwise I would have worn a daily one instead). Instead of showering within the hour, I said no sense in showering since I am only going to have to go out and shovel in a couple hours and get sweaty. So, I continued for the next couple hours wetting and wondering if I was going to have change. At 11:30 or so, I went out and shoveled and it managed to actually last until I came back in and showered. Ever have a situation come up where you were wearing and instead of switching to underwear, you decided to just go with the flow?
