  1. I wear Kins cloth prefolds doubled with the Rearz night weight cloth diapers at night. During the day it can be a Depends Fit Flex pullup or a Kins pull-on cloth diaper. Love the cloth but sometimes wish to be more discreet in the day.
  2. If you came to my place right this minute you might catch a distorted glimpse of a baby print or coloured cloth diaper through the dryer door glass. Possibly you might see the old chipped diaper pin on the medicine cabinet or the set of four interlocked diaper pins sitting on the shower stall soap tray. In my room, hiding behind the bright orange laundry bag hanging from a peg on the wall there is a little round blue nondescript lidded pail. On the far end of my dresser is a container of baby powder and if you sat on my bed, you might catch the sound of a subtle rustle or a very faint familiar scent. So, no, you really would have to snoop?
  3. I only wear what I can trust and the Depends Fit Flex pull-ups have saved me from those annoying sudden urges that won't wait while out and about in the day especially while waiting in a line at a store or where there are no public bathrooms. I don't submit to a full void of course, but just enough to take the urgency away. Nobody seems to notice them under jeans or even beach attire. I've never had a leak yet. At night I wear cloth but I have never found cloth or disposables discrete enough during the day.
  4. Hi guys I've been using prefold cloth from Babykins or Rearz for at least 25 years and I found that the only thing that would eliminate the foul odour was two tablespoons of bleach in the bleach compartment of the washing machine. I also limit the number of diapers in a wash to about 6. I use a prewash and extra rinse cycle. I manage to get three to four years out of one diaper that Babykins says is the average lifetime. Oh yes, the diapers are removed in the shower and rinsed out before going into the pail for a day or so before washing. No offensive odours.
  5. I'm mostly DL and very private about that. I have always enjoyed my plain white cloth diapers at night but in the last few years I have been ordering the cute prints on the diapers and, more recently, onesies with prints too. Come to think of it, my grandkids have a toddler's plasma car that moves by pushing the steering yoke back and forth. After repairing it, I took it for a test drive and found that it would support my weight and I got the biggest thrill riding it around the basement floor. They thought that was hilarious. No, i don't plan on buying my own but it is fun once in a while when I visit. Maybe a little more AB than I thought.
  6. I have to agree with NonCommitted11 on this one. I find the Fit-Flex are perfect for those times when I am trying to get into the house in a hurry to get to the toilet and I am experiencing that painful urgency. I can just let go a little bit to dispel the pain and then use the rest of the diaper up in small spurts for the next while.without worrying about flooding. Also great when turning on a tap and feeling that automatic response to pee when I hear the trickle of water. There isn't much more that a few drops released but I realIy like the freedom to just let it go. They can hold quite a lot but just can't handle a flood. I sure wish they had these when I was a daytime pants wetter back in the 50"s growing up.
  7. I support your request as I too bought one of those large rubber sheets many years ago. I have often wondered what I would use when I couldn't order any more. That rubber is very durable and, when rinsed off, a little baby powder restores their slippery feel. My wife didn't want to sleep on top of a rubber sheet so I cut it into four big pieces and use one on my side of the bed under a cloth diaper just in case my cloth diapers have a leak. Many times when my young grandchildren were visiting, my wife asked me for one or two of those extra rubber sheets as the kid's pullups seemed to always leak. Oh yes, my bedwetting genes were passed on .
  8. Pullups are my regular underwear and now I have found another use for them. I wear pullups and plastic pants in my sailboat! I have a kayak with a sail (Hobie Adventure Island) and spray comes over the side constantly while sailing. After only a few minutes on the water, I have to pee urgently and getting into a position to pee in a small dinghy is almost impossible while holding on to the lines . Before I resorted to absorbent products, I tried just letting go in my bathing suit but that left the very expensive mesh seat smelling terrible. Even if I managed to hold my pee while sailing, as soon as I stood up when landing, the urge to let go was just unbearable. So I tried pullups with plastic pants over top with a bathing suit and heavy wind pants over top of the bathing suit to keep my legs warm and to protect from sunburn. I was so happy to find that this was the perfect setup for me and it is so wonderful to just be able to pee while sailing along. The Depend Fit-Flex seems to be adequate for three hours and although it is very bulky at the end of the sail, the plastic pants do not seem to be wet on the inside and they keep water from the outer pants from getting the pullup wet. With all that bulk on my lower body, nobody even guesses what I am wearing when I am hauling the boat out of the water. I love to go sailing.
  9. I told my wife long before the wedding and she seemed to accept it then. I hoped and wanted to believe back then that this strange obsession would go away once I was sexually active but it didn't. Her feelings changed to a mere grumbling tolerance a few years later as I began to explore this desire for diapers. Forty-five years later we don't breach that discussion any more as we both know that her feelings won't change and after many binge-purge cycles in my younger years, I know that mine won't either. As long as we avoid that topic we get along quite well. Now that I am seventy, sex doesn't seem to come to mind as much as it used to but I am always diapered for bed and often during the day. The words of KD Lang's hit song titled "Constant Craving" seem to fit here.
  10. I have been wearing cloth at night for about twenty years now . I now wear three medium Kins pre-fold diapers with the large size 6 mil plastic pants and there are no leaks. Kins recommends that the pants be one size larger that the diaper. I find that with the three diapers, they hold enough liquid that none of it actually gets to the plastic pants leg or waist bands. Three diapers at night is pretty bulky but nobody is going to see that except you. After about two years, the prefolds get thinner and don't hold as much pee but they do fine as the third diaper. I like to pin them as tightly against my thighs as possible. I also prefer the printed diapers because they show through the plastic pants. During the day, just one new medium prefold works for about three hours.
  11. I have had the Babypants recordings for three years now and I do enjoy them for meditation purposes. I got both the bedwetting and the daytime wetting sessions. Most of the recorded material consists of simple relaxation techniques. I do enjoy the female British accent and the quality of the material in general. I don't think I want to lose complete control but I am quite able to relax and wet whenever I am wearing my diaper at night or during the day. Dependent? - I don't think so yet but maybe later on.
  12. I have worn and wet at night for over twenty years and never minded washing my cloth diapers every other day or so. I find it a comfort that I am taking care of myself. Although I didn't wear to work and am now seven years into retirement, this last fall I started wearing my cloth diapers and plastic pants more often during the day and found that I was gaining more confidence in myself for doing so. I could wear under my jeans in the company of others and not worry about discovery (no one seemed to notice anyway). I checked in a full-length mirror first and felt that it isn't really all that noticeable. So, since New Years, I wear all the time. I have discovered that by avoiding caffeine, even an older, thinner pre-fold doesn't flood and can be worn for one or two hours after it is wet without leaking. Like many on here have discovered with constant wearing, they tend to wet more frequently but in smaller amounts, giving the diaper more time to absorb the wetness. Wetting during the day is fun but I tend to want to use it only when it is inconvenient to use a toilet like when driving, gardening, shopping or going to the cinema. I know, I am only fooling myself that this is somehow a justification for wearing but it satisfies me and I can also be sure that I will always be able to control it when I have to. Even Littlelolikat of the Dotty Diaper Company recommends keeping some control in one of her videos. I learned that an advantage of cloth is that it can be pinned loosely enough that it can be pulled down like regular underwear to use a toilet when it would be inappropriate to be wet; something that I found was a real struggle in a disposable diaper. I also learned that by wearing all the time, I am not being nagged by my mind constantly that I could be enjoying the comfort of a diaper right now. I found a website recently on the subject of accepting oneself as a DL ( I think it was Wikihow). It recommended keeping a journal about these kinds of conditions that will enable a person to look back on past events and not be affected by the emotions of the present. I may try that but I keep recalling someone saying that you should never write down what you don't want anyone else to read - Yet another challenge!
  13. Yes, I remember from when I was just three and I was no longer in diapers. I would wake up in wet pajamas and in the morning my mother just used a small pail to put between the rubber sheet and the bottom sheet so that it would dry during the day. She only washed sheets and clothes once a week so my room always smelled of stale pee and so did my pajamas. If I woke up wet, I tried to sleep in the driest part of the bed until morning. The idea of wearing a diaper for the condition never really entered my mind even though I was instinctively attracted to them whenever I saw them drying on clotheslines. That went on throughout my childhood at least three times a week accompanied by minor dribbling in the daytime. For me it was an annoyance. At about age 12, I remember a few times that I had spasms during the day time and was unable to control my bladder at all resulting in completely soaked pants, but fortunately on those occasions I was able to conceal it so that nobody ever found out. The dribbling did result in small wet spots at the front of my pants from time to time and that was seen by my classmates for which, of course, I was ridiculed. Quick recovery from the immediate devastation just made me stronger for the later problems of life. At 13, my bedwetting and dribbling just seemed to stop for which I was very grateful.
  14. My older brother knew because we shared the same room until our late teens and I remember telling him that I liked "rubbers and diapers'" when I was only at the innocent age of three. Even though I was a bed-wetter until the age of 13, I didn't have diapers for protection.
  15. I always wear at night, even when visiting family and I will often wear during the day when I am in the mood.
