Thank you all for your suggestion and will take into account what advise you all gave me. The problem is am on a tight budget as it is SS so not a lot of spending room and Medicaid here where I live will pay for my supplies but for only certain brands.

Oh! BTW I am incontinent and thank you for the invite to the club :).

If you can't do better than the best your coverage will allow you, consider using cheap baby diapers for a stuffer. They can be changed out seperately and will about double the capacity of the diapers you can get. Be sure it fits fully inside the other diaper or you will get leaks when it alone is soaked. If you cut small slits in the backing of the stuffer, the outer diaper will co-absorb with it, allowing you extra time without doing anything. Also you can cover it all with a cloth diaper and plastic panties for more protection. Before you 'lock in' check online for samples- most manufacturers or major sellers will offer samples at a reasonable cost so you can find what works best for you ;)

Most states you can buy your own diapers and Medicaid will reemberse you the money you paid for the diapers. You have to go to the Medicaid office and ask them if they have this option and how many diapers and how much dollars they will reemberse you for. You may be surprised that you can get better diapers. The company's that handles Medicaid diapers actually buy diapers and mark the price way up to make profit off the diapers, I know this because my Medicaid supplier told me this. My supplier in Montana gets me 2 cases of abena X Plus plastic backed L4s and one case and two bags of Tranquility ATNs for a total of 190 diapers. Now if my Medicaid incontinence supplier decided not to supply premium diapers I would have done the Medicaid reembersement program.

Try Har-kel They are located in western pa and may cover Ohio. I use the attends with waist band and the tranquilty contour top liner. They are covered under Medicaid. They also provide reusable bed pads as well. But at night i use diapers i purchase. I like a diaper that pulls wetness away from the skin for extended use.

If you are 'that heavy' a wetter at night, pin a bath towel round you and wear waterproof pants. ( breathable Gary polyurethane one's last for years )

Good advice as always from the other members,

If it's flooding problems you've got I would not be wearing pads as they will let you down.

It was thanks to DD that i stopped my night time leaks.

Gary euroflex pants with a diaper and terry towel in between is pretty much faultless for bed time.

You need to get hold of a good quality plastic backed diaper for heavy wetting, in my opinion stuffing a poor diaper might give you leaking problems as it can effect the seal around the legs or our pee will spill over the leak guards.

I would also recommend you look into the cath and bag as an option as to be fair I works extremely well when you get it right. It takes time to get the right options but I wear mine about 50% of the time.

The only, and I mean only downside is that if you get a blowout it's way worse than a slight leak from a full diaper.

Good luck, may the diaper faired watch over you!
