White duct tape works quite well, or at most home improvement stores, duct tape is also available in assorted colors & cute designs.

Just a little "BUMP", to make it easier to check for updates on this most wonderful story.

Not too awfully long ago, I was visiting a relative at a dementia care facility, and noticed in the bathroom of his/her room that there was a package of Tena size Large, standard disposable diapers. The patient was really on the small/medium band width, and I'm just now wondering if the care facility was purposefully using a larger than normal size diaper on the patient to increase the overall holding capacity of the diaper. Does this make any sense? I mean using a size L on a medium size patient, or a size M on a small size patient, does anyone think this would increase holding capacity and increase the mean times between diaper changes????? And, would this perhaps be something for me to try, (using a L size diaper on my nominal M body size) to increase holding capacity thru the night? Would be interested in your thoughts........

Prevail Air Overnight - My partner wanted to try this new to the market cloth backed disposable rather than my usual ATN plastic backed diaper. Well, it works ok for overnight, but she doesn't want to completely trust it on me for overnight yet. On the other hand, they are very soft, very absorbent, and don't make too big of a bulge under my jeans. Give them a try. These may be my new daytime diaper. Got mine delivered by Walmart. I'm about 150 lbs, and the size 1 fits me just fine.

I've been using Depends disposable underwear (pull-ups) for years due to medical issues that causes leakage during the day, and sometimes larger flows at night. They have recently made some changes in the product that I am currently evaluating. For the longest time, their standard was "Fit-Flex" product. They have now put out a new "Protection Plus" version that seems to be available only at Costco, and a "NIght Defender" version that is supposedly much more absorbent. Protection Plus - At first, I thought these were a downgrade, as they seemed somewhat thinner than the "Fit-Flex" version. But as I have been wearing them the last several weeks, they are proving to be a pretty decent improvement over the older, still available "Fit-Flex". Costco now stocks only the "Protection Plus" version, in cases of 92. Night Defender - Yep, they are great for night time for me, or high flow, long day use. Noticeably thicker than either of the others, and no leaks as yet. However, the price point is almost 50% higher than the "Protection Plus" version. I'm probably going to stick with protection plus for day and night, unless I have been taking in more fluids than normal in the evening. I would recommend either, depending on your needs.

Has anyone tried the Tena "Classic" clothbacked diapers, or have any experience with them? I was recently visiting a relative at a memory care facility that seemed to use them on all their patients. I'm looking for something to handle medium overnight wetting, and thinking if a private institution uses them, must be performing for them.

Lightest Male incontinence guard with largest coverage.

Try the "Prevail #PV-811" pad that can be found on Amazon, and is usually available on their Prime shipping program in cases of 9 packages of 14 each. I have daytime leakage problems from bladder cancer surgery, and these work well for me. Much better than the Depend or Tena "Guard" products, which I have also tried. Good Luck ! -
I could use some advice.
Dale Ridge replied to Comfortably diapered's topic in Incontinence - Medical
I had some bladder surgery that required diapers for some period afterward, and experienced something similar. It went away after a short while, and we attributed it to the end of my penis rubbing on the diaper. Doesn't bother me any more.
