drynot
So whenever I come to this page....my antivirus software goes off saying that it has blocked an attack "Nuclear exploit kit download 4" Link to comment
AwakenEvil
Nope. Sounds like you have a bug in your system. Try malwarebytes and see if it detects something. Link to comment
DonsbabyKS
No drynot, what virus protection program(s) are you using? Link to comment
AwakenEvil
Interesting Google search it looks like it maybe a zero day java exploit Link to comment
AwakenEvil
Download malwarebytes. Just cause it keeps blocking it doesn't mean the issue is resolved. It just means its not infecting your system but the bug still resides on the unit. Link to comment
drynot
I have Norton as well. 1 Link to comment
AwakenEvil
I wouldn't go that far and say its the anti virus companies but most of the viruses are just rehashed to avoid their detection by changing code in this or that language. Did you say malwarebytes.org was blocked or the virus itself? 1 Link to comment
Baby Brian
Not a conspiracy, Norton was actually outed once for doing just that. Of course they denied it even when the virus was traced back to their IP. Who's to say they still aren't, but have just gotten better at covering their tracks. Link to comment

AwakenEvil
Im a fan of Avast! I use Malwarebytes a lot when I worked in the field. Combofix cleaned up a lot of heavily injected machines as well Link to comment
Loveable_guy
I used Norton 360 and for a while was receiving the same alerts. Today when I entered DD I did not receive an alert, Link to comment
Dubious
Norton is shit, use at own risk Link to comment
dlsmd
Norton is bloated way to much Link to comment
Baby Brian
I've been using AVG free for 10+ years. Never had a problem with them except for the constant short circuit I get between the keyboard and mouse (ie. Operator error from clicking on links I shouldn't have, and etc.) Link to comment
DonsbabyKS
I use the built in Windows Security Essentials and AVG. Link to comment
