  1. Obama isn't "targeting" anyone. He's trying to keep us ALL out of a re-run of the 1930s. I guess you read The Grapes of Wrath and thought it sounded like a grand old time? As for "spending" ten trillion dollars, you do understand the "bailout" money comes back, right? It wasn't a giveaway, it was in the form of loans and equity stakes. There remains a distinct possibility we could turn a PROFIT on the bailout if and when the financial sector recovers. The people at the "tea parties" may very well be hard workers (they may very well also be cheeto-eaters who live in their parents' basements listening to talk radio all day), but they are in no way "the people" who make America work. Remember how well the "real Americans" narrative worked out for you guys? Your Jesus Hero Sarah Palin tried it out a lot last fall. Again, keep it up. Don't learn from your mistakes. I don't recall much of a Republican revolt at Bush's deficits. Nor Reagan's. As for "socialism" or "hard core marxist Communism" or whatever fiction Rush Limbaugh tells you to latch onto, you do realize that taxes today are lower than they were under Reagan, right? Goddamn that hardcore social marxist communist wealth redistributor! Anyway, have fun with this thread. Having verified that Republicans are still wallowing in the same divisive anger and paranoia they were in November, I can go back to my placid confidence in my side's electoral chances in coming cycles.
  2. Lol, might want to take a step back there. You are the ones who seem to think the U.S. is not so OK any more, remember?
  3. I love it when people invoke age against me. It is usually a pretty solid indicator that they have nothing meaningful to say. At any rate, I'm not 21 (my brain is not riddled to pieces by age though, deepest sympathies if yours is). The fact that you regret the way you have voted in the past is your own problem. I also hate to break it to you, but simply invoking the name of Carter is not an automatic win button, any more than saying "socialism" is. The fact that you do not understand what socialism actually is (hint: it isn't Obama) is also not my problem. As for kool-aid, I'm not the one who wanted to be out with the tea-partyers because Rick Santelli and Fox News told me to. But again, keep it up guys. Keep blaming Clinton (it definitely makes your party look compelling), keep up the paranoia, and we'll keep up the winning.
  4. A lot of people in this thread need to turn off Rush Limbaugh and go read a book. You guys got walloped last November, and if you keep talking the way you are in this thread, we're going to beat you in 2010 and 2012 as well. I had a grand time in D.C. on January 20. Please, please keep it up so we can coast to another Obama inauguration!
  5. I have found Depends with a baby diaper stuffer is very sufficient for nighttime use. There are also still plastic Attends and a number of other btands out there.
  6. When I was in college I delivered papers for a while (awful college job, 7 days a week, middle of the night, horrible for sleep schedule.) Anyway, I am always diapered at night on account of bedwetting, and I would usually stay in bed until i absolutely had to be up and out to the route, usually at around 2am. So, I usually just left my diaper on for the route, and would come home to shower, dress for the day, get a fresh diaper if i wanted to wear for daytime as well. One particular night I had not been feeling very well and got bad stomach cramps while I was driving around on my route. I tried to drive to a gas station to use the restroom and avoid messing myself, but I didn't make it and had a pretty bad accident in my diaper. It felt awful; I don't really care for a dirty diaper in general, and positively cannot stand involuntarily soiling myself. I don't usually cry very easily but I did for a little bit after it happened, I just felt powerles and angry at myself and stupid. As I had to finish my route on time and had no clean diaper with me, I had to finish my route in my dirty diaper. I felt filthy, smelled pretty much like I really needed a diaper change, and had to stand up and sit back down in my vehicle frequently, which made it feel even worse. I was a very unhappy camper when I got home, and was thrilled for a shower and fresh, clean diaper. I stayed diapered 24/7 for a few days after that just in case I had any repeat surprises, but thankfully did not have to resort to my diaper again.
  7. http://preview.depend.com/SeeTheDifference.aspx That's a pretty juvenile page. Neat.
  8. I went to the inauguration, my 80 hour weeks organizing on the campaign having gotten me a ticket into the event! Unfortunately it was a ticket to the Purple Gate of Doom. Lame. I was stuck in the same place for over three hours with several tens of thousands of people packed together so close we couldn't even fall down if we wanted to, without a porta potty in sight. I didnt see or hear about any accidents though, so either Democrats have super bladders or there was some padded people around me. Adams Morgan was kicking that night, JUMBO SLICE MFers!
  9. I wonder, would people be this irked and angsty if the internet persona "Adrian Surley" had pictures of an average looking male instead of an attractive female? The answer, of course, is no. I haven't the slightest idea who or what the person behind the posts is, or really care. If the entire point of this thread is that someone possibly invents and portrays to other people an alternate reality of themself on the internet, wow, that's really uncommon and definitely worth caring about. And if the absolute worst harm you incurred over it was ten dollars for something you knew was too good to be true when you paid for it... again wow, that is definitely worth caring about. The preceding sentences are possibly imbued with a degree of sarcasm... Most of the people in the diaper community are males. Females who participate in the community are rare. Females who attach pictures to their participation in the community are rarer still. Even rarer STILL are females who attach pictures to their participation who are attractive. They attract disproportionate attention on account of this, whether they are advertising a blog and website or just chatting. People care about this because they want her to be real because they have this fantasy of meeting someone like her, and if she turns out to be something other than real, that fantasy is punctured. If the majority of people in this thread would admit that, they could just exhale and stop caring and be better off. Hey, I'll start! When i first saw her blog, I thought "neat, attractive girl in diapers." Then I thought, hey, neater still, we went to the same university at the same time! Then I reminded myself, "lol, you're not going to meet her and have amazing real life diaper pornography scenes with her, this is the internet!" Then I just sort of enjoyed her blog from time to time. End of story. Go gators. Also, Adrian, dating a Texas guy? WTF, really? The Gator Nation is everywhere you know. I joined imabdl. They don't provide what they advertised, and it didn't surprise me when I discovered that. I read and often enough enjoy her blog. There is zero cause to get worked up over anything she has done. If it bothers you, just ignore her. The only potentially legitimate cause for complaint anyone has is if they paid the ten bucks, and if you paid that and honestly expected the advertising to be accurate, come on, get real. You knew it wasn't real when you paid. Anyone getting worked up because they perceive her online persona to have disingenuous elements, hey, welcome to the internet. Everybody knows everyone on the internet lies about themself.
  10. It seems a little bit weird that they would put the pampers logo and name on a product aimed at older children. Most 10 year olds would likely *not* want to be wearing pampers, even if they are fully aware that they are basically the same thing as GoodNights. Looks interesting though - at least a step in the direction of a good adult pullup.
  11. Cruisers are fantastic for doubling as well. Who would have thought diapers would be good for wetting problems?
  12. One thing that is worth pointing out is that asking about the total number of diaper lovers in the world is somewhat illegitimate given that diapers - even for infants - are not found everywhere in the world. It would be difficult to form a psychological attachment to something to which one is never really exposed. Although, to be sure, the major disposable diaper manufacturers are doing their best to convince those parts of the world that they would be better off using diapers~ Not that the number of diaper lovers in China or Bangladesh is particularly relevant to one's existence as a diaper lover in the United States or Europe (or Canada!)
  13. I have heard that before - about women attorneys wearing diapers for work. Is this just because a lot of women in general have incontinence issues, or is this particularly common in the law?
  14. Where do people go to school? University of Florida here.
