ChampTehOtter
I was recently listening to the 'coming out' episode of the Big LIttle Podcast, and one of the hosts said something that really resonated with me. Link to comment
Baby Brian
First, I'd change your letter to say diapers can be sexual, but they are more than that to you. They are an integral part of who you are (per your saying they excited you for as long as you can remember). Make sure they understand that rejecting this part of you is quite literally rejecting a part of you. Add in that they don't have to understand it, and you certainly don't expect them to be involved with your diapers. Just be aware that while you intend to keep them private, they may still come across them by accident from time to time, but that they shouldn't be concerned as this is just a normal part of what helps keep you sane and "normal". As for the distinction between private and secret. I've been talking along this line for some time now. I do believe anyone you feel is close to you (and those who are already asking for that matter), have a right to know the real you. You're certainly welcome to keep your diapers private (and probably should in most cases), but attempting to keep it completely secret is really no different than lying to them about yourself. Something I do not believe anyone should do. Of course, there is also a different distinction in all of this, if diapers really are nothing more than a fetish to you (definable if they are something you could easily give up). In this case I'd say your bedroom escapades don't really need to be revealed to anyone other than your significant other. Link to comment
ChampTehOtter
You make a good point, and great advice. Diapers are an integral part of who I am and it's enough that people just accept it without being expected to participate in any way. Link to comment
