  1. Cancer has been proven to be caused by Human Papiloma and Human Polyoma Viruses - These viruses are common (75% of adults world wide are walking around with one or more strains of these viruses living on thier skin.)They lie dormant sometimes for many years waiting for the immune system to be lowered from some other causes (smoking, heavy metals, pollution, a really bad flu etc) These viruses are sometimes passed congenitally and do not cause infection for 20+ years, they can be passed by the slightest brush of the skin and the recently developed blood test is not available everywhere. Governments have invested so much in propoganda (anti-smoking) from over thirty years ago that they are now not prepared to deal with what has been called an HPV world epidemic. HPV is found in cancers of the head and throat, breast cancer, anal and colon cancers, lung cancer and cervical cancer. It is thought to have a link to digestive cancers as well. There is a vaccine that is available on a limited basis in some places. I wouldn't worry too much about the baby powder.
  2. Rubber Gloves are just good hygiene when it comes to diapers. Everybody has some hepatitis living in thier intestines naturally - even babies, so this is really important for the messy crowd. A hepatitis infection can happen when that Hep gets out of where it's supposed to live and is transmitted (on your hand)and gets into parts of the body where it's not supposed to live. (Rubber gloves also make for easy clean up! )
  3. Hi Gweg, maybe try to relieve some of the other stresses in your life and your baby side will be more contented. Mommy
  4. There is a huge difference between the kind of roleplay I might have with a sexual partner - them being my sexual partner is what changes the context of the role play more so than thier gender. Rather - when caring for another AB (who is not my sexual partner) - well, I don't feel any other feelings than those you might feel for a helpless baby in need of your care, nurturing and protection. For me it's more about context than gender, but then sex is sex and diapers is diapers eh? When I am diapering someone who is not my sexual partner, it is more like a situation like CPR or health care where you put aside your sexual side to meet the needs of another human being. Beyond that what someone does in their diaper is another matter Mommy
  5. How do I feel when I baby someone I am not sexually attracted to? Well it is still a very intimate exchange. Diapering someone is a very physical and intimate act of nurturing.
  6. Diaper's are made for your pleasure - why wait to wet your diaper and delay getting to put on, (or being put into) another fresh nappy - unless you are into denying yourself the indulgent pleasure of wetting that is! If you are trying to conserve on the number of Diapers you go through, try thick cloth diapers which you can have on hand - fresh from the dryer yes some boys pee while wearing thier diaper without wetting themselves, but if you keep teasing that Potty Monster one o' these days it's gonna come after your Hotdog! - and if the Potty Monster gets your Hotdog then you'll be wetting your diapers like a little girl! Not that I've ever seen that happen, I'm just saying, it could . . . - Mommy
  7. swallowing the key so it comes out inside the locking plastic pants? - sounds like that would work! Also sounds rather uncomfortable . . . maybe you need a grown-up to be responsible for the key (and maybe the clean up).
  8. suggestion for meet up location Money Pennies has a large private patio. They have other groups that meet there and are generally supportive of diverse communities, very trans positive and BDSM aware etc. The food is very good too.
  9. Hey, I count six people here on this thread, I think you have eneugh people to plan a meet up ; May second is a Sunday - first weekend of the month is easy for people to remember, maybe mid afternoon - so folks have time to come into town if they are traveling, say for 3:00pm? message me if you decide to go with this, or what your plans are. Mommy
  10. Hi we are in Calgary, also an ABDL couple, and host AB DL Calgary adult nursery. (we are everywhere! - you are certainly not alone )
  11. Restrictions for carry on limit women to one carry on and one Diaper bag, however they are only allowed a diaper bag while traveling with a little baby, big babies don't count and Mommies traveling to visit Big babies must check thier diaper bags - discrimaination I say! (I hate checking luggage).
  12. Hi from Mommy and Daddy in Calgary!
  13. 1) have not seen the movie - but thanks I'll check it out! 2) The challenge facing Canadian doctors is the pull between offering all the wonders of medical science and the restriction of "the budget". If you are not dying immeadiatly you may not get testing that would gain you access to more treatment. Your doctor is always choosing weather to open that pandora's box or let you sit with your symptoms untill you need care. So preventative medicine is constantly put at odds with funding and over all patient health is compromised. The compromise presumably ensures security for when you are dying. - If it's something the governement does not have to pay for you can get what you want done (dentistry, cosmetic surgery). These funding policies sometimes come into conflict such as access to GRS (self funded) vs corrective surgery and prescriptions for intersexed persons (gov funded) - though they are sometimes the same procedures and drug treatments. I am satisfied knowing I have access to health care when I am dying but sometimes frusterated when I hear a dr acknowledge that they would have done more testing but do not want to unneccissarily tax the budget. 3) Incontenance products are funded by provincial health care for those recieving social assistance for disability. As far as I know the products are not generous and must be rationed meticulously and are of a lower end medical quality such as you might find in a hospital but are never of a type suited for an active or working person. In order to continue recieving them some provinces may require reporting between your doctor and social services to conferm every three months that you are still incontenant and will discuss just how incontenant you are. You will be incouraged to " make due " and my witness is that you will sometimes be left short on diapers, by trail by ordeal you will have to prove your need. They are of the disposable type - cloth is not an option though it would be more economical and better for the environment. They are reportedly uncomfortable and tend to leak (wet sand diapers). Can't remember what brand the government issue diapers are - they come in a huge box marked incontenance products (not discrete). Mommy
  14. Weekends - like say on a Sunday afternoon, would make it easier for out-of-towners. For the sake of accessability maybe a coffee shop would be better. I've chaired groups in the past and find that invariably at some point there are members who cannot afford to be going to restaurants all the time and get left out. Though a restaurant or a movie, bowling etc. can be a fun thing to plan with such a group as an occasional thing. AB's bowling in full AB wear and super thick diapers would be fun to watch . . . ahem - supervise - Mommy
  15. ABDL Calgary souviniers actually you get all sorts of goodies with the option to take home with you or to store discretely in your very own diaper bag - that's just for you.
