  1. I would love to know the prices for the items in pictures 40 and 44.
  2. Are these still for sale or have they been sold?
  3. How much if you were to ship them? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I ended up getting one of those “bodysuits” and it fits like a snug medium onesie. It’s really soft so that’s a plus. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I was wondering if anyone has looked at the Cat and Jack Bodysuits on target.com.https://www.target.com/p/boys-adaptive-bodysuit-cat-jack-153-heather-gray-xl/-/A-52921776 I was looking at the reviews and noticed that some said that it fit them being 5’11” and 153 lbs I was wondering if someone had looked at them or bought them. I’m not sure if this is the correct spot to post this or not. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I had my first UTI in the 3rd grade and nothing ever was mentioned about sticking anything in my urethra. The biggest thing about male UTI’s is they should be treated as complicated due to them not being frequent with males. Most males that get UTI’s either have neurological problems, poor hygiene, unprotected sex, or did something they should not have. That is not always the case though. There are a number of reasons why males don’t get UTI’s that often and the biggest thing is the length of the male urethra which prevents a lot of bacteria from entering the bladder or the kidneys. However since you had E. coli as the organism the doctor most likely assumed that you had unprotected anal sex as E. coli is frequently found in the rectum as is a bunch of other bacteria. However as the provider didn’t inquire there is no reason to be concerned it is being taken care of now. The only thing is that once a male gets an UTI they have a higher chance of getting another so that is something to keep an eye out for. If you notice any discomfort, burning, pain, or blood request an appointment with your doctor or go to an urgent care/ convenience clinic and they can check for an UTI for you. 7. Carbohydrates are necessary for life. You cannot live off of just protein it is biologically impossible. As Bettypooh stated it’s all about a balanced diet. I’m one of the individuals that require a high carb and calorie diets to maintain a healthy weight but I don’t eat a lot of simple carbs I mainly eat the complex carbs. Simple carbs break down too quickly and can cause someone with diabetes to go into hyperglycemia and when they give themselves insulin it can cause them to bottom out which can be just as dangerous as blood sugar being too high. For diabetics their best bet it to eat a balanced diet and avoid the simple carbs like potatoes and bread. Certain fruits and vegetables like carrots, some legumes, grapes, watermelon and others will also rapidly raise someone blood sugar. For those whom are type 2 diabetic you can also manage your blood sugar with exercise as well which may allow you to not need medication (this is something you need to talk to your health care provider about as this doesn’t happen for everyone and only your provider can help you determine what treatment is correct for you.) Personally my blood sugar without medication and medically documented has been as low as 38 and as high as 200 all during the night eating a balanced meal for me not only do I have to consume more calories and carbs than most people my age I also have to exercise to make sure my blood sugar stays within the healthy range. I also have Multiple Sclerosis and Postural Orthostatic Hypotension Syndrome which complicates my life even more than just the bladder issues that I have had since the 3rd grade. I forgot to mention that if you are taking any medication that is over the counter or that has been prescribed by your provider can effect your blood sugar, blood pressure, bladder, and your nervous system. Caffeine and alcohol irritate the bladder and can cause you to go more frequently. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Bettypooh is correct with multiple health issues that cause incontinence there is not always a choice in wearing diapers. Sometimes medicine or other treatments can help, sometimes though medical science cannot solve the problem. It is not always an easy choice to choose to seek treatment or weather or not to. And sometimes the treatments aren't reasonable or feasible for the individual.
  9. aidankid from my experience responds with time. I bought the patterns from Etsy several years ago.
  10. Insurance companies don’t like to cover incontinence products from my research. If it can be resolved by a pill or a surgery they would rather pay that than for diapers. Mind you that this is from what I have seen and come across. For information regarding your insurance you can always request information about specific coverage. As for the Health Savings Account or whatever they want to call it now that can be used for almost anything that pertains to health with or without a prescription. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Bettypooh is correct the patient always has a choice in the treatment. Do not let them tell you that you don’t have a choice, don’t let them pressure you or make feel that you do not have a choice. The patient has just as much right to say they do not want to do a test, procedure, or treatment for whatever reason. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Typically very few psych conditions does not cause incontinence most of the time it is due to an underlying problem or as a side effect from medications. Prime example would be those Taking medication sara called me experience and incontinence due to the sedative properties of the medication or those. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    AB clothes in Ohio

Between 8-15 years ago. A friend told me there used to be one in the Cincinnati area and I know there was one in the Columbus area years ago but they closed down.
  14. I know for me there is the psychological comforting and the physical health aspect due to recurring uti’s and ms as well as pots for me to wear. My urologist had me do a urodynamics test which showed that there isn’t much time for me to get to the bathroom. He said that since I have ms there isn’t much that he can do to correct the issue (bs if you ask me and read the medical journals) and never wrote an order for diapers so I’ve been buying them out of pocket even though my insurance would cover them. There are times that I wish I could wear 24/7, and there are times that I wish I didn’t have to but overall it’s just easier for me to wear when I am going on long trips or going somewhere where I may not be able to get to the toilet in time rather than worrying about having an accident.
