  1. LOL I love it, I just about laughed my butt off. The "settings" are, of course, Siri's interpretation of the word "wettings". She is not a DL, as far as I can tell, or even aware of DLs. Trying to correct her mindset through conversation has so far not yielded tangible improvements. But I will continue to try blaming her.
  2. Using a medical service online market place, I found a clinic in Costa Rica that's offering to perform a radical urinary sphincterotomy for $6,000.
  3. I have fairly good results with Abena pads no 7 and AbriFix pants over them. They have the capacity for several small settings. I prefer briefs, however, because I don't have to worry about them moving around as a pad could.
  4. I am trying out the Tranquility Slimline with a booster, and I pleasantly surprised by both capacity and comfort. The best pat, however, is the fact that they stay squishy when wet, softly mold around my privates and butt without hardening. That's a significant improvement over Abenas. More testing to follow...
  5. During particularly leaky times I wear Suprima vinyl pants, either model 1212 or 1232. They are sturdy, have forward facing leg openings and provide the right balance between being snug around the leg openings to prevent leakage but aren't too tight to injure my skin. Overall very comfortable. I wear size S for my 35" waist.
  6. I wear pull-ups, both Abena and Tena, but only in situations where don't need conplete safety from leaks. At work it's a tape-on diaper.
  7. I voted No. Life is too short to dull my experience of the here and now. There are so many things I want to do and so little time, I want to experience it all!
  8. Same here: my wife calls them 'diapers'.
  9. I wear something waterproof over my diaper, Gary Active Briefs or Suprima plastic pants. If it's hot then that's all I wear. By now my wife is used to the look and complimented me on my choice of the Gary pants over that of plastic pants. If there's a chance that the kids could see me, I wear pajama bottoms over my waterproof pants, short if it's hot, long if it's cool. All of this I wear with a tshirt if it's cold.
  10. I find that the higher capacity pads are comparable in effectiveness to low capacity diapers. Compare Abena pad no 7 with AbriFlex M1. I don't trust pads as much as diapers, though. They can move and that makes me nervous. There are situations where pad are more convenient, such as when hiking in Hawaii: it's hot so I cannot wear waterproof pants (breathable or plastic), but I still need to change my protection during the hike. I found the combination of AbriFix and Abena pads to be optimal for that.
  11. Had anyone tried working with a live hypnotherapist?
  12. My wife knows and a close, mutual friend. Nobody else knows including my parents, sister, kids etc.
  13. Can you ease share your routine around that? Any tricks, advice?
