  1. I like that you took the pic while in proper fitting jeans, i.e.
  2. Yeah, agreed. I use the tena slip maxi a lot but don't intend to order another case until I hear if they will still be leak free and body hugging when wet. Update anyone?
  3. So any word on how well the new style actually works?
  4. I have a thread on the go right now in this forum called "looking for a better 24/7 diaper..." and in it I give my thoughts on the Molicare Super Plus. Yes they are purple, I'm tough enough to wear purple hahaha. In all seriousness though, I wear jeans and a t-shirt and usually the top of the Molicare Super Plus is low enough that bending over does not show any of the diaper.
  5. Spargano, sounds like you have a really good MIL. Being IC I've gone through that exact thin diaper stage with leaks, trying to change every 2-3 hours, etc. I finally got tired of it and said this is silly and now I wear the plastic Molicare Super Pluses and man what a difference. Can you tell if you look closely, yup. But hey, if people want to look at my butt let them look, at least it won't be wet
  6. Thanks for the tips. I'll give them a try
  7. Thanks Brian. Should I try going to something like a 1-3 blade shaver vs the 4-5 blade ones?
  8. This month I've been trying to go completely shaved down there instead of trimmed short like I normally go. So far the results haven't been great. Little red bumps I think from ingrown hairs and it gets itchy. I think I might be missing something from the instruction manual. A lot of girls seem to shave regularly without as much trouble, is there a difference in hair types between the sexes? Because of the irritation I only shave every 4-5 days. Should I be shaving more regularly. Will my skin become more resilient?
  9. Barb, you have my sympathies. I'm 30 and a small business owner and can appreciate the need for professional image. What you went through was beyond tough. I would have been humiliated.
  10. Let's not forget that being the wonderful human creatures we are, we tend to think the grass is greener on the other side of the issue. At the end of the day, those who act out of free choice vs those who are figuratively "forced" to cope with something will always see the same issue from different points of view.
  11. There's a lot of good points brought up in this thread, but IMHO it's really not cool to pooh-pooh on someone just because they live with their parents. That's a very draconian way of looking at housing in our modern society. I've always thought of this forum as a "safe place", somewhere that all of us members can be open and free from shame and judgement. I hope that style of caring and support will persevere over any brief arguements that do arise. I didn't wear at all when living with my parents, I wouldn't have been that brave, but as it turns out incontinence came knocking in my 20s when I was out of their house and now at 30 they know that I wear anyways. They found out about all the appointments including ultrasound and CT scan appointments, and it would have been cruel to leave them completely in the dark wondering what was going on with their son. It's sort of funny when you think about how I wouldn't have told a soul about my DL thoughts back then and now it's almost the other problem of having to wear when I'd rather have kept it a very secret thing.
  12. Lee, I can explain the contradiction as it applies to me, I suspect others can relate. I like diapers, but when they don't perform properly when I NEED them to, I can find myself grumbling about them. Leaks can be a real bummer, especially if I'm on my way to a meeting for my business. It's hard to show up and have to carry a backpack into the washroom of a customer's house, locking yourself in the bathroom for a seemingly loooooooooonnnnngggg time (really only 3-4 minutes) to change and get cleaned up. Or, getting out the door heading out somewhere, literally 5 minutes in a new diaper, and you end up wetting it thoroughly. Additionally I often worry about someone finding out that I wear diapers and giving me a hard time over it, or worse, judging me without confronting me and giving me an opportunity to explain. Incontinence gives social license to wearing diapers, but it doesn't make life easier by any means.
  13. Wear diapers! Lol. I've been through that procedure, and my ultrasound tech was very good, didn't say anything about my wearing, and I was glad to have them on, especially when he found something that wasn't supposed to be there and spent another 15 minutes taking images.
