Dill_Pickle
Alex, Everyone has different limits on the point at which things change over from fun and sexy to hurtful. Link to comment
Honu
First, there is a difference between disciplinary spankings and BDSM. The first is about your interpersonal relationship and the other more sexual. So, if a BDSM impact session turns into a spanking, than things like "safe words" and topping from the bottom are completely out. The "top" or spanker is solely responsible for the safety of the spankee as well as for the effectiveness of the spanking. The spanking position must include clear visibility of the spankee's bottom and at least peripheral view of the spankee's body language. Link to comment

DaddyTony
Well, I usually trust the person who is being spanked to know when his or her limit is up. Link to comment
michellelittleb
My Mummy has one rule! No leaking nappies and if I do I am spanked until my bottom is red and sore, once I have wet my nappy again it then hurts. Link to comment
