Diapered Aussie
OK maybe a bad topic here but like I like to wear I am not IC but yes I do wet the bed some and feel ashamed when I do, even when no one knows. Link to comment
Baby Brian
I have recently undergone a sphincterotomy to remove any remaining control I've had, and make me completely incontinent. I have had a neurogenic bladder obstruction and urge incontinence for some time now. Getting the sphincterotomy should make things much better for me, so I can definitely say I am incontinent and want to be this way. Besides, I like wearing diapers. They are a part of who I am and I have come to terms with that. Once you get over the stigma of wearing diapers you will realize they are not as bad as you might think, and that for most of us here, wearing them is a big comfort. Link to comment
Denube
I can't speak for them, but maybe it's a way for them to feel like they truly own their body? I've heard that floating around before. Link to comment
stevewet
I became incontinent mainly due to my diabetes. At first I hated it but once I got over the stigma I discovered I actually enjoyed it much as many who come on here do. It can be very inconvenient at times but on the whole it has made me a better person. Link to comment
Jilly Poo
This is just my own personal opinion why some people SAY they want to be IC, but I think it is to justify their wants and desires by making them an actual NEED. Link to comment

Baby Brian
No problem and no offense taken, there are a lot of people on here with different likes and levels of reasoning for why they wear diapers. Link to comment
Bettypooh
Everyone's wants and needs are different. Some find life is better for them without bladder control, but for most who lost or never had bladder control this is not fun So to each their own, and to those like Brian, maheedl, and others who need this I'm fully in support of you To those who wish they had control but don't, I'll do everything I can to help you have a better life too I simply want everybody to be as happy as they can be and I'm not going to judge someone over this. Nat
For some it gets rid of their guilt of wearing them Link to comment

sunwutian
Nobody really understands the reason why, anymore than why they like diapers at all, or are the sexual orientation that they are. It just is what it is. We constantly have people telling us "you really don't want to be incontinent" as if it's a spur of the moment thought for us. But for a lot of us, we effectively -have- been by way of wearing 24/7 for years if not decades. We know what it's like to have to always have a change, to sometimes leak, etcetera. And we are happy with that lifestyle. Link to comment

cathdiap
My desire to be incontinent is closely related to my sexual drive. When I am the mood for having sex I simply insert my stent, put on my diaper and let it all go. Sometimes a few wet diapers are enough foreplay to start masturbating, sometimes it takes a few days and twenty diapers to do it. But after that my needs are completely gone for a while. I am not into having sex with other people, but I do have a sex drive. Having had this incontinent friend in elementary school my sexual desires focussed on incontinence. From this perspective I consider myself to be lucky as it is now possible for me to be incontinent for just a while. Link to comment
Bettypooh
I knew I'd missed a point in my first reply and it finally came to me this morning. Diapered Aussie said "I have medical problems but would not want them on anyone and could not understand why anyone would want them" and therein lies the lack of understanding. 1 Link to comment
billy1234
I ask myself this question in reverse if I stopped being incontinent would I still want to wear nappies and the answer is always yes. For me incontinence is a handy excuse to fulfil another need, yes there are times when being incontinent is a bother and you would rather not have to deal with it but on the other hand it allows me to undertake my wants all whilst take care of any Link to comment
