  1. Unfortunately, I switched to Molicare Supers after Abena dropped the plastic backing on their lesser absorbancy briefs and the Supers are good for me for all day at work and overnight.
  2. I ordered a case of these in the level 4.
  3. It's good to hear you have a supporting family member. I remember when I told my mother a few years ago and she understood with few questions (it helped that my Dad is incon too). The most awkward situation came up though when my mom asked, on my dad's behalf, about the products I was using. He is hard of hearing and was looking for something that works better than the Depends pull-ups, etc. Due to my still being fairly active and working, I told her briefs work better for me than pull-ups because I can't undress to change all the time at work. Dad refuses to wear "diapers" and I've never had another question since. --- Edit --- Hello from another Upstate New Yorker!
  4. What wetman said. In the US, you don't say the word "bomb" in an airport. You will almost definitely be detained for questioning if the wrong people hear you.
  5. Congrats and glad it with smoothly for you! I remember coming out to my parents and it was much the same with my mother. It was kind of funny because her response was on the lines of "I already know." My dad on the other hand ... he kept insisting that I just hadn't found the right girl. His next question was "What do you look for in a guy that is so different?" My response to him was "Don't worry dad, it's not you!" This got a few chuckles, but for the next 8-12 months, he always insisted I just needed to find the right girl and I would be happy. Finally that stopped, he met my boyfriend, now fiance, and while he didn't say it in person, he did approve and was glad I am finally genuinely happy.
  6. We're not welcome to donate blood in the USA either. Sure, you can lie and say you haven't slept with another man, but I don't feel that I should need to lie about who I am to save a life. They don't ask how many women a straight guy has slept with; why does it matter if i've ever slept with another man, even only once? From what I've read, the Red Cross is trying to change that policy, but the government agencies still insist that it is too high a risk even though HIV is not a "gay disease."
  7. Unfortunately, it would start to do so with barely one wetting. Yes, I expect any diaper to clump and break apart when "loaded." I was unhappy with the fact that it would start to do so before I had barely even used it. Overall, it is definitely a great diaper, but not so much so if you are up and moving all day. It may well become my overnight diaper, but for daily use, I can't due to the amount of movement I make all day.
  8. I got a few samples just recently and love the thickness of the backing plastic, however, I had a lot of trouble with them clumping up and the filling falling down. Is this just happening to me? This wasn't even after long-term wear, it happened over just a couple hours. I currently use Abena M1s for my daily diaper and M4s (X-Plus) for my nightly diaper. I would love to reduce to only buying one type, but just wasn't happy with the clumping trouble.
  9. Just flew to Texas about 3 weeks ago and had no trouble with security. They ran my bag through that was loaded with disposables and never even questioned it. As long as you don't pop on the metal detector, you don't have to worry about the frisking.
