I was able to get an appointment with the obesity doctor yesterday after Dee and I talked. It was a very difficult conversation but one which needed to happen. We marry for 'better and for worse' and we love unconditionally but my weight and size have put an enormous challenge on life and Dee has taken a heavy load (pun intended) upon herself as well.

Dee and I sat down yesterday afternoon to seriously discuss my weight.

Well, the rant was written a long time ago, now.

Now a few days into Key West living and I am reminded why Jimmy Buffet came and never left!

Marco wasn't here 15 minutes before Sam came flying into the back yard where we were all sitting on the patio with a pair of my plastic pants in his hands behind his back like an opened parachute. Sam doesn't know I am in diapers and I am very careful to keep everything out of sight but he managed, somehow, to get into the second guest bathroom and pull a pair down from the shower rod. My brother Tim in California sent me a pair of rubber pants to try out.

I plan on ordering a pair in the euroflex despite the noise issue that some of you have talked about.

In the strangest of coincidences, Dee and I were in the grocery story and bumped into one of the obese teens from the high school group. He was shopping with his mother.

This latest experience of trying to reach out and give back was interesting and I am glad I did it.

It's a very sensitive issue and I can appreciate your husband's position because mine was and still is much the same.
