  1. I(and a lot of others) would just like them to start offering something in size small again, perhaps that's what their announcement is... well, at least I can wish.
  2. I'm not wure why I felt the need to, but for some reason I decided to read the information again from that link regarding the future of plastic backed Abena products. This time around I noticed something big that would have a huge impact on me. In that post it only refers to Abena M's and L's(mediums and larges), it mentions nothing of Abena S's(smalls). So here's my question(s); was it only the medium and large size that Abena was thinking about only offering in "cloth" back, and not even thinking about changing the plastic backed option for smalls? Or are they for certain changing all smalls to "cloth" backed, and they only changed their mind regarding mediums and larges and will continue to offer those two sizes with a plastic back option for now? I really hope it's the first one, that smalls weren't on the table to be changed to "cloth" back to begin with, and will remain plastic backed. If all the Abena smalls are being changed to "cloth" back, that would just be fan-fucking-testic news, as that would mean the number of size small adult diapers on the market that work properly for my needs would now be zero :/ .
  3. *note: Swap "Total Dry X-Plus" for "Bambino Classico/Bianco" as from what I've heard they are now both the same size. Would someone who currently has access to the new medium Total Dry X-Plus be able to do a big favor for me? Due to the changes in size made to the product, I'm trying to figure out if it would fit me. I would normally order a sample size and find out the easy way, but I'll be ordering a new case of diapers soon and would like to know if maybe I should order these. What I would like someone to do is to make 4 different measurements for me, measure the length of the diaper(2 measurements, 1 when relaxed and 1 when stretched), a measurement of the width(from 1 wing to the other) of the front wings, and another for the back wings. Anyone who could do this for me would receive mucho appreciation and 'me love them long time". (I posted this under the Secure brand too as from what I've heard the Bambino diapers and the new Total Dry X-Plus use the same sizing system).

  5. I am thinking of the same questions as Repaid1 is. I heard news that their products were resized to a slightly smaller size, then not too long afterwards(after a bunch of complaining I noticed by the community) I heard news that the sizing is back to normal. Basically what I (and Repaid1) want to know is, if someone were to purchase right now, for example, medium classicos/biancos, would their size be any different? If they are infact smaller, are we talking small enough that they would fit well on someone who uses size small abenas/molicares, or are we talking a smaller size that can be compared to the size "small" dry 24/7(which isn't size small at all). It would all be nicer/easier if they just brought back size small....... Dear Santa, .......
  6. I am of a pretty small build as well, and have tried a large majority of brands out there in various sizes. The first thing I can say is try different brands until you find something you like. The problem with adult diapers is that from company to company, not all sizes are the same, and each brand has a different cut to their brief. For example the Dry 24/7 small is absolutely massive compared to other typically smalls on the market suck as Abena x-plus small(so much so I don't think the Dry 24/7 small should be called a small). With saying that, you can't always trust the 'recommended measurements' that manufacturers put on the packages of their products. For example, as mentioned above dry 24/7 small is much larger than abena small, on the abena x-plus small package is says "waist size: 24"-31" " and on the dry 25/7 small package is says "waist size: 21" - 31" ". My hips/waist are about 27", therefore according to the measurements written on both packages, both briefs should fit me well. Abena small x-plus fit me very and is one of the briefs I use the most, on the other hand I've tried the dry 24/7 small before and didn't even bother putting the brief complete on, it was absolutely massive to say the least. Both bottom and top tapes overlapped, the side wings were so long that I had to fold them multiple times otherwise they would go completely around my buttom, and it was so high in both the front and back that the brief was on level with my nipples. Needless to say that even if I had my aid bother to completely tape the brief up on me, it would have leaked like a seive due to it's huge size. It's an absolute joke that the company thinks the brief would fit someone as small as having a 21" waist. Not really meant to be a complaint, but more of a warning, the measurements on packages aren't always what they should be. Another important thing to mention is that you can't always decide which size product would fit you just based on waist size. As long as you feel comfortable doing so, could you tell us both your waist and hip measurements. That will allow us to give you more accurate information on which size would fit you best. The thing is, which is especially true for women, some could have a very tiny waist, but larger hips, so whereas the waist measurement might put you in the 'small' size, hip measurement might mean 'medium' size would fit you best. I also don't mean to be the bearer of bad news, but if it ends up that small is the best size for you, unfortunately this size group has a much smaller selection of products compared to mediums, larges, etc. Once I know a little more about your measurements, I can give you a list of products that you should try, and some products that you should avoid.
  7. This comment I saw fits the picture perfectly. "That isn’t a smile on his face. It’s that weird look babies make when they are pooping."
  8. I'm absolutely kicking myself for not seeing this post sooner. Please let me know if it doesn't work out for the first guy as I would be extremely happy to obtain these, I was devastated when both secure and bambino stopped making the x-plus/bambino/classico. I unfortunately don't have the strength/dexterity to tape up my briefs myself so I have my aid help me out. The secure x-plus and bambino bianco/classico were great because they were the only brief on the market that had both a refastenable tape system and were highly absorbent. With the refastenable tapes i could lightly tape them up and the slowly retape it a few times, slowly pulling them tighter and tighter, which gave me the much wanted freedom of being able to tape up my own brief, which I can't do with any other brief on the market as they all only have 1 or 2 chances to get the tapes right.
  9. My family solely uses Redbox now to rent movies. At most we would rent 2 movies per weekend, and on the other hand we sometimes rent none, so using something like redbox only makes sense given how we rent movies. The only problem we have noticed when it comes to Redbox is that because it is fully automated and no human actually views the returned dvds, you can sometimes get a dvd that has been abused(ie scratches, tons of fingerprints, "gunk" shmeared on it, etc.). We do email Redbox about the issue when we do rent a dvd in such condition, and sometimes we will get free dvd rentals from it, so at least the company is aware of the problem.
  10. I support the fight for equal rights when it comes to gay marriage. Living in a world that is still lacking a lot in terms of wheelchair access, I know what it's like to be treated like a second class citizen. I know what it's like to live in a world that still doesn't fully accept, so I like to think I share a bond with those fighting for equal right in terms of marriage. Also, life is just way too short to prevent two people from doing something that not only means so much to them, but does not hurt anyone else in the process. Live and let live.
  11. I whole heartily agree with this. You point out that this was due to an "insurance lapse", therefore it is your fault an no-one elses. Perhaps this punishment will be a lesson to you. I also agree with timmyc, if you REALLY wanted to go out on Halloween you would be doing something about it to fix it or find a way to do it, not complaining about it here. You have a month before Halloween, plenty of time to find a solution to the problem. If you choose to go out and drive with a suspended license and get pulled over again, you have no one but yourself to blame.
  12. I'm of the same opinion you are. I'm not trying to be mean to the OP, but perhaps let him see that he is capable of living a much more independent life. I have a form of Muscular Dystrophy as well and really only have, and albeit somewhat limited, movement of my head and forearms. I went away to college at 18 and got my own apartment at 20. Other than having help paying for my PCA's(personal care assistants), I am not on government aid and have gotten a well paying job as a computer programmer. You are capable of doing anything you want, you just have to work hard at it. As with any disability, you will have to work harder at it compared to someone without a disability, but that just makes the end result all the more sweeter. I also have to side with your mom. Put yourself in her shoes, if you were a mom her age would you be comfortable with your 27 year old son looking at fetish websites on your own computer, especially when he doesn't even try to hide it?
  13. I watched the episode the OP is referring to on netflix, it is called Teenage Mutant Leela's Hurdles. When they emerge from the aging pool, they are definitely not wearing diapers. It may slightly look that way if you are viewing the episode from a distance, but they come out simply wearing tattered rags that resemble underwear. So, no diapers to be seen here.
  14. I like to have fun with these guys as well. I send back an email saying that I am extremely interested, but also using some basic tactics to sound a little naive, so they think I am legit and not just pulling their strings. I then say all of the needed info is in the attachment in the email(always contains a virus, I like to kept it mixed up a bit and use various forms of virus). My favorite is the ol' "completely fucking their system by having 1(yes 1) line of extremely important code deleted, but not before screening a montage of some really nasty stuff". There's a lot of other fun stuff to do to them, but I just don't give enough of a shit about them to devote too much time/effort into it, so usually I make my message short and sweet. Some might be smart and never open attachments, but I doubt it.
  15. Everyone is right in the fact that people in college tend to be a lot more accepting of things. I'm currently in college and a few of my friends who are also my roomates know I wear out of need and are fine with it. I've had a roommate get back from class early and barge into the room while I was changing(happened quite a few times actually), and he very quickly and politely excused himself from the room until I was done. I am in a wheelchair as well and find that people here at college are a lot more accepting of my disability than compared to my high school days. It is definitely possible to hide the fact that you wear but it's going to require some work on your end, especially if you lie about why you wear, as you will have to keep up with that lie. You must also take caution with that lie and be prepared to deal with any circumstances that come along with that lie. It's up to you to decide which road is better, don't say anything and hide the fact that you wear, or lie about it, both has their pros and cons, and both entitle a lot of work. On the otherside try not to worry about it too much, your college years are some of the best years of your life, try to enjoy them because the time flies by very quickly.
