  1. Congrats on a happy ending. My wife is also the type that will never ever accept my diaper needs nor my crossdressing and we been married for 14 years now. When I told her about 13 years ago, she DID freak out and whenever I mention my need for diapers, she tries to convince me to quit them... Needless to say that we don't have a full and open relationship...
  2. Just remember that these days the doctors DO NOT work for the hospital but are independent contractors which means that there is no way to have continuity of care. The U.S. medical system is BROKEN beyond repair and even the "best" hospitals don't mean squat these days, especially in an emergency. My wife was due to give birth and had contractions -- they send her home WITHOUT checking how far dilated she is just because of high threshold of pain and thus they said that if she can talk to me, they are not real contractions. Needless to say, 2 hours later we were back and she was open 7cm -- nurse panicking because they lost the heartbeat of the baby and there was NO DOCTOR ANYWHERE -- my wife offered to pop her sack by herself to save the baby when a doctor finally arrived that was on standby. All this at a LARGE hospital with a dedicated maternity ward on a Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 pm. As for ER, I will stay away as much as possible because the amount of incompetence that goes on there would make a rain forest tribe witch doctor proud -- on a good day. Just remember that if nobody is willing to touch you to save your life and you die, your family can't sue medical negligence since nobody touched you -- and that my friends is the U.S. health system...
  3. My mom found my diaper stash when I was 16 and she just asked whether I had a problem but when I said no, she did not pry and left it be. Some items should not be pried into by parents. Finding a stash of sex toys is one thing, but diapers they tend to assume it is a medical issue and not pry -- again, your mileage will wary...
  4. I am writing this on my Windows 7 Enterprise edition 64 bit and it definitely can show flash in Google Chrome, FireFox, Opera, and Internet Explorer. Something is wrong with your setup. Flash is so prevalent that even my Windows 2008 R2 server box, which only comes in 64 bit, displays flash.
  5. What I REALLY hate are the sites that are ONLY flash. I know it is much easier to code, but it is MUCH slower and it is not accessible to many people. Either way, my post earlier was to let people know that there are secondary ways of tracking your surfing habits that we should be aware of.
  6. As a software engineer I thought for a long time that just deleting browsing history and the temp files would be enough, including browsing using the privacy mode. Apparently that is not enough since many websites track you using flash based cookies that the browser does not control. Just an FYI to prevent the significant other, or some large corporation from tracking your every move when you browse... http://www.wired.com/epicenter/2010/08/specificmedia-zombie-cookie/ To clear go to: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager03.html and set the storage to 0 and to disable any storage Then go to: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager06.html and click "delete all sites" Then go to: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html And make sure that it is set to none and to "never ask again"
  7. I just wanted to know what type of diaper boosters / stuffers people use (if any) when they wear diapers.
  8. You could always use the posey double padded mitts to prevent any stimulation even if regular plastic pants are used. There is of course the fun jumpsuit that can be ordered pink which has padded mitts and is not possible to escape from by your self (the Segufix is a nice touch although the picture is missing a thick diaper under the jumpsuit)...
  9. I also would be weary of purchasing it because if you find the good sales, you can get store brand diapers for MUCH less than $60/100 and they are pretty much worthless.
  10. I used to have a full mattress vinyl cover that went over the mattress and closed with a zipper. Then put a regular bed sheet on top and I know I am protected no matter how bad the leak -- and diapers do leak when you let go into a diaper you wore the entire night no matter how good the diaper is (at least disposables do). P.S. Walmart sells the covers for about $20 or so. Sadly the largest they have is a queen size - no king size available.
  11. I will say from personal experience that when I get suicidal to the point of deciding to do it (I managed to pull myself out from the brink myself without help), it feels like you are disconnected from the body -- almost feels like out of body experience. At that stage, there is no way to call to get help since you don't want help and really don't have the capability to ask for it, sort of like a drowning person can't scream for help. Thankfully I haven't got to that point in several years and am VERY careful to not think and dwell on it when I get suicidal feelings (multiple times per month) -- instead I dive into work or go exercise outside. ANYTHING except lie in bed or sit on couch watching TV, because keeping busy allows me to concentrate on other things and not about my feelings which would make the situation much worse. I am EXTREMELY lucky that I have two kids who I love dearly and that is what brought me from the brink multiple times and keeps me going. It is my responsibility to be there there for them and no matter how bad I get, I always think that I CAN NOT do it because of the impact it would cause them. Remember, kids will always think that they caused you to take your own life no matter what anyone says.
  12. For some strange reason I get diaper rash when I sleep in a diaper that I wet just before going to sleep. Takes about 3-5 days to go away until my behind quits itching, but I actually enjoy it since it does remind me of my being diapered for a longer time... I have no idea how the 24/7 people do it since I have a hard time sleeping a full night in a diaper without it becoming hot/sweaty and downright uncomfortable....
  13. I guess we will miss each other. I will be in Vegas from 8/12 through 8/19 if anyone is interested in meeting.
  14. I will make sure that the youngest one went through at least one year of college before doing it. At 18 they are still not yet ready for the world. I figure that at 20 they are good to go and let's face it, how many times do most kids call home or stop by after hitting 20 or so. Even at 20 they will never listen to any advice you will give them...
  15. This is one of the reasons why I NEVER talk about being depressed/suicidal to any doctor and tend to self medicate with Cymbalta for a 30 day stretch if it becomes REALLY bad since I can't do it yet due to my young kids and still need to be functional. My depression / suicidal tendencies always come back but I deal with it and have for the last 25 years and will for another 15. It is not good to have on medical record these types of things... BTW, in my state, they also closed down most of the psych hospitals and emergency rooms are always full of mentally unstable people. Personally I think that being suicidal should not warrant a 72 hour hold since at most you are a danger to yourself -- in which case even an alcoholic qualifies...
