  1. In the last couple of years, I've gone from "I'm not a furry, but..." to "I think I'm a furry." I haven't really delved into it or started exploring that part of me much. I don't have a fursona (yet), so all I know is that I am a furry and there's no reason I wouldn't be a babyfur as well. Just being a regular human babygirl is always going to be my main thing, but it would be fun to see where things go with my furry side.
  2. Medical reasons. in 2009, my bladder was damaged in surgery when I had my colostomy reversed (my intestine had ruptured the year before). That surgery shouldn't have caused urinary incontinence, but they botched something when they put ran stents from my bladder to my kidneys because apparently the ureters can "collapse" during such surgeries. I've always doubted that because they're most commonly used to clear blockages from the urinary tract but I'm not a doctor. Anyway, I had intense pain while the ureters were in and later found out from a CT scan that I had a bunch of scarring in my bladder. So whatever they did, it caused me to have a lot of problems being able to hold it when I needed to pee after surgery and for quite some time after. In addition to the expected bowel incontinence that lasted for a few months after not using those muscles for a year and a half. I didn't go 24/7 at that time (after I got my bowel control back) because at worst I'd have some light leaking if when sitting and standing so a pad was usually fine or I'd wear pullups if I needed to be out and about all day. Then in 2015 I had a back injury that caused some nerve damage and that was the end of me being able to reliably make it to the bathroom in time thanks to the loss of mobility and my already weakened control. Sometimes I can't hold it at all until the pressure goes down, sometimes I just can't get to my feet and make it to the toilet before the floodgates open. I occasionally have genuine messy accidents which are thankfully few and far between, but I suspect those will happen more often as I continue to get older.
  3. Love in Brief is very good. The Big Little Podcast is also good, but they don't record much anymore (used to do a new show once every six weeks or so, now they do 1 or 2 a year).
  4. And any time this comes up on r/ABDL, the transphobes come out in droves to say a bunch of transpobic stuff. r/GirlsInDiapers ls is a garbage subreddit full of garbage people.
  5. Sam's Club pull-ups. I can't afford good ABDL diapers all the time, but my urinary incontinence so far isn't bad enough that pull-ups can't handle it.
  6. I was 5 or 6 and at daycare. All the kids were going swimming, and I went into one of the bedrooms in the house to change into my swimsuit with two other kids. This girl my age got undressed she had a diaper on. I asked why she was wearing it and she said she needed it. I didn't know "big kids" could wear diapers and I really wanted one, too. I tried to put one of my baby sister's diapers on one night not long after that, but it was too small. Another time at the same daycare we played house, and I was told to be the baby, so I decided I could wear a diaper. I got into the room where all the diapers were kept and tried to put one on. It almost fit, but not quite. So I thought I could just put two diapers together and it would work, but then it was too big and the tabs kept coming loose where I tried to stick them together, and I got really frustrated.
  7. Having tummy troubles and decided even though I'm only in an adult pullup right now to just go ahead and mess it. I wasn't going to make it to the bathroom anyway, and at least for the moment it relieved the stomach cramps.
  8. My 17 y/o stepdaughter knows. My incontinence was due to a back injury a few years ago, and we told her because she's usually with us on the big shopping trips and we didn't want to make separate trips just for my diapers and pullups. My stepson (13) doesn't know because he's on the spectrum and tends to tell inappropriate details to everyone he knows, as well as complete strangers.
  9. I've actually experienced a couple of different forms of bowel incontinence. When my intestine ruptured and I had a colostomy for about a year and half, I still felt my bowels moving before my bag would fill. Mostly it just felt like a lot of pressure and then it would happen. After they put me back together, I had no control for quite awhile because the muscles hadn't been used in so long (and no one thought to tell me to do kegals before the reversal surgery to get them working again). The sensation felt like it always had, pressure, then needing to go to the bathroom. The difference was that there was nothing I could do to stop it from going into my diapers. I mostly got control back over the years, but I do still have occasional bowel incontinence (and regular bladder incontinence) because of a spinal injury a few years ago that caused some nerve damage. And it's still the same way. Sometimes, I get the urge and simply can't hold it. There is sometimes conscious pushing on my part, because once it's already too late, you might as well finish quickly instead of waiting for your body to get it out on its own. It's not always pleasant to be messy, but more comfortable than having it stuck halfway (and it's going to happen anyway so there's no point in trying to hold it when you're going to need to change regardless).
  10. Ugh, I can't stand her. I had no idea who she was until she literally showed up overnight in ABDL circles with a sponsorship from Onsies Downunder, and she was just suddenly everywhere. She used to be all over the kitten-play scene, and made that community look bad by appearing on Tosh.0 and making a fool of herself (it's probably still on Youtube if anyone wants to see how awful that was). The kitten-play community pretty much ran her out of town for that stunt so she found ABDL, put on diaper, and instantly dropped all association with kitten stuff, justifying it as "people grow and change and I'm still figuring out who I am." I gave her a chance and followed her on tumblr and Twitter for a bit, but she is absolutely toxic to her own fans. If anyone dares to question her, she is just mean and nasty to them. She's even rude to people who adore her, for that matter. Last I paid any attention to her, she was getting into puppy-play after her diaper porn site failed to bring in much revenue (again, "this is who I am and people change and eff you if you don't like that!"). I honestly think she's just trying to build a portfolio as a fetish model because any time her interests change, she does everything she can to be as visible as possible and become the face of that community. The only reason she hasn't gone fully into puppy-play is because she's still getting interviews and TV appearances as an ABDL model. I would say take every public appearance from her with a grain of salt, because while she may have a genuine interest in being an adult baby, her primary goal is to get herself out there as much as she can.

  12. Always. I'm 24/7 because of medical reasons now, but I used to only wear if she brought it up and said I could because having someone accepting was too good to be true and I didn't want to ruin that by wearing diapers "too much."
  13. I'm not saying OP can't or shouldn't wear diapers. I was an AB long before I became incontinent, so people can wear all the diapers they want in my opinion. I'm just saying that since OP isn't experiencing total loss of everything in his bladder at once, pullups would be a good place to start wearing on the job. It sounded like diapers might be overkill in how he described his leaks at first, but since I can't relate to his situation about the problems caused by being "gifted" in certain aspects, I'll take his word for it that his situation causes some problems. As for skirts vs pants, when I have to stand to change my diapers, like in a bathroom stall, I still find it easier to do if I take my pants off for it, so that step is part of my process either way. But I'm also clumsy and less likely to trip over my pants bunched up around my ankles if I'm not wearing them. Also, I worry more about wearing diapers under a dress or skirt than pullups, because if the tapes come undone or get stretched too much from prolonged wear, they can fall right off with no pants to keep them in place. It has happened and I've had to dash to the nearest ladies room holding my diaper in place on one side. Leaks are going to happen no matter what you're wearing, honestly. Especially at work when you're moving around more than you would at home and causing your diaper to shift and stretch (and squish if you're often going from standing to sitting several times a day like in an office job), since unless you can get the premium brands all the time, diaper manufacturers assume that adults who need diapers have limited mobility. For that reason, I've had more struggles trying to find a reliable workplace diaper than pullups, though Tenas are my preferred for that. I completely agree that finding the right product is a frustrating case of trial-and-error.
  14. For starters, your employer not only doesn't need to know, you aren't obligated to tell them because you have a right to medical privacy. You could let them know that you may need more frequent or extended bathroom breaks due to your injuries and leave it at that. They might want a doctor's note, but they won't need specifics (such as anything saying that you'll be changing your diapers - that's none of their business). I've been incontinent while working in a prison while also part-time at a retail store and a fast-food restaurant, and then while working in a cubicle-style office environment (data entry, but it was the same setup as when I worked at a call center years ago). It sounds to me like you'd be fine in adult pullups instead of full diapers, but I've worn both types to work and never notified my supervisors of it. Pullups are also easier to change in bathroom stalls because you don't have a lot of room in there, plus there's no tell-tale sounds like taping up or removing the tapes, so keep that in mind if you're concerned about being discreet. They're also faster to change, which means you won't have to worry so much about taking too long of a break; additionally, they're smaller so it's easier to carry spares in something that doesn't look like a diaper bag (I can fit mine in my purse and my laptop bag). Ultimately, incontinence doesn't directly affect your job performance in most professions, so it's not a huge deal.
  15. While I do prefer tape-up diapers, they're not as easy to change on my own because of my back problems and my fiancee's not always up to changing me because of her own aches and pains, or just being busy with other things that need taking care of. Also, pullups are easier to find in terms of brand variety in stores and that's good since I'm only bladder incontinent. They're also less bulky, you tend to get more in a pack than with regular diapers (which is good if you're on a tight budget), and they're just more practical for daily wear and use because I can usually make it to the potty without wetting so much that I need changed for awhile. I just found a few packs of Tranquility pullups at a store today and they are fantastic (I also love their diapers and buy some whenever I can).
