    • Understanding comes when you accept that others are also going through difficult times, regardless of what your own are like. In the place where I work now, the next four weeks will be about collecting taxes by going to people's homes. People are even trained for a day beforehand so that they don't get too emotionally involved. Fortunately, that's not the case for me, as I don't see the people, just the tax cases. Whether this is comparable to what you do, I don't know, as for reasons and by all rights you don't tell people what you do. Nonetheless, we can both understand when people say that we're in for a tough few weeks. And above all, you live in the USA. This means that your working week can be 60 hours, 6-7 days a week due to the lack of employee rights in the USA. For me, it's a maximum of 40 hours over 5 days. I'm digressing again. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it won't be that bad.
    • I wonder if we can really think if ABDL as a thing. The term was coined by DPF. However. I keep hearing here that the two are totally separate and from what I am seeing here, interms of narrative, that is mostly true although it is also true that most DL's have a "play age", usually, though not always, from about 3 to 7. It is possible to be mixed but still, on close examination, the two seem to be separate. This is in line with rubber in that most persons who favor that, as recognized by the International Assoc or Rubberists,, acquired that at an age in the 3 to 6 range. Both make allowances for late bedwetting which can go into the teens and rare cases of other types of "first contact". For rubber, the usual contact is through panties. There are enough stories about that here and were plenty, and the pattern was established, in IAR publications. Other than that, I cannot discern a real narrative to DL as I can with AB since there are other accoutrements that go with it, such as pacifiers, stuffies, blankies, etrc or, for those acquring in the mid and late single digits, usually associated with bedwetting, the toys and things. Also, culturally, the overwhelming association with diapers, almost to the point of being definitive, s with babies and I have seen here and DPF input from DL's  starting to acquire some AB narrative. I must say that in the early days of my time a DPF; meaning 1983 to 1987, what is now AK was part of AB which was subdivided into Baby, preschoo and grade school, some parts going into high school, I think of it this way; baby and toddler (the real AB), Very Little ; 4 - 7 and Little; 8 - 11, at least for girls. a 12 year old boy is not very different from a 10 year old My main point, to which all the outers were adjunctis, is tha tAB and DL are integrated only by diapers, which could also integrate with IC, but there is no ABDLIC, is that AB is Totally separate from DL. so anything ABDL can be so at only the most superficial level
    • Trudy didn't; that's Nikki's friend in her story. Nikki studied martial arts with Stacy's grandfather, so Stacy was around and also helped out with classes sometimes. Nikki, therefore, studied with Stacy - Carly's Mom. Hate to think of anyone having that much understanding! Good luck with your weeks! Hopefully, you're nearing the light at the end of the tunnel? Thanks, and thanks for the comments! 🙂
    • How does Trudy know Carly's mother again? Too many chapters, too many people and too little time to read everything again. I can understand that with the stressful working life I now have 4 weeks of intensive work ahead of me. Then 1.5 weeks off but then 8 weeks of hard life at a vocational school with German tax law and believe me it's not one of the most complicated in the world for nothing. I'm really excited to see how it all continues and I'm looking forward to finding out what's new on Sunday. I bet Carly and Beth's troupe will win the show simply because Carly's knowledge of our world allowed her to react much more creatively to the task than Amazons who are used to holo technology.
