How did you find out about the AB/DL universe?

I remember how i found out about the AB/DL universe, I was at an age probably around 17 when diapers weren't around me and i was going through diaper withdrawal. I started searching on youtube of people wetting there diapers and noticed on alot of the videos ABDL was included in the name. I ignored this for at least 6 months but then i finally wondered what the heck that was since everyone was including that in there title. I finally searched it on google and discovered the entire world and the vast amount of people that enjoy wearing diapers. I swear my life has changed since then knowing that there was a community of people who enjoy wearing diapers and i wasn't just one of the few with those on youtube.

Along about 1994-1995 - I'd just been online a few months. I ran across DPF...it wasn't until then that I realized there were places one could buy plastic panties online. I had an order to DPF ready to email and I happened to find AC Medical; needless to say I soon had an order sent off to them for about twice as much stuff for about the same price. I found out that I wasn't the "only one" on Earth who was into this when I was about 15 or 16 around 2000ish. We had just gotten a computer with dial up Internet and one of those free AOL discs they used to give out. I randomly typed in "Depends Diapers" and that's when the magic happened. I remember clicking on a Yahoo! Geocities link and having my mind blown away.

Would you believe it was my therapist that brought a talk radio segment to my attention? This was at the very dawn of AOL. Remember, AOL and their free however many minutes of dial up trial in the early 90's was the first exposure to the Internet many of us had.

Holy crap! I'm an old timer! I started wearing for fun when i was 12. When i was 18 I learned about other people wearing when I stumbled on a Penthouse letter describing an "unbelievable" experience. Later I heard about DPF and after a year of debating about it, I joined. Then the Internet was invented (Thanks A.G.!) and I didn't need to pay for my diaper stories any more.

A Yahoo search, most likely. But in 2004, when I was starting to realize I was sexually attracted to diapers, I found DPF (among other sites) and discovered that being ABDL was an actual "thing." I'd hate to think what that process would've been like pre-internet.

I started to use diapers in 1958 making my own then in 1963 I bought real diapers from the Wards store. I continued to use diapers of some kind through the years and after I got married and had two kids I started using baby disposables stuffed into my briefs. All this time I always thought I was the only one with this weird fetish even though I had heard of infantiism. Well we finally got the internet in the early 90's and the first thing I looked up was diapers and infantiism. I couldn't believe all the other people out there that had this fetish, I was so relieved, but it has also furthered my fetish, which I don't know if that is a good thing, but I do like it.

In the late 70's I noticed that very rarely a letter in Penthouse Forum would have a diaper oriented storyline. In the mid-80's there was a publication of sexually oriented letters that much more frequently had diaper stories that Penthouse. Of course I was relieved that I wasn't alone, but it wasn't until the internet came out of DARPANET that I heard the term ABDL or even had pictures and real people to associate with those stories.

It was late '99/early '00. I had joined the Air force early '99. Not long after I got to my first permanent duty station, I bought a computer and got dial up internet access. It was nice browsing in private along with not having limited computer access. I started searching for diapers and ran across DPF. I was glad to find others out there like me. That helped me feel not so weird. I had a thing for diapers for a long time. Even before I was 10.
