Your not alone feeling that way. I completely understand ending up down the rabbit hole. I have the same issues when one little thing catches me off guard and I beat myself up the rest of the day. Some times I can do positive thinking exercises and pull out of it but other times I'm down for the count. I end up getting worse because I lost my day whole to that little thing so I'm mad at myself.

No worries. I use to hurl abuse at myself. You're not alone. I try to clear my head and break the cycle if it does happen. It can usually pop my mood back up if I focus on one thing at a time and give it my full attention. It took a while for me to learn how to do that sort of action.

Nobody pushes me harder than I do, and as tough as I am on myself I can't see how anyone else could :whistling: When I'm depressed- especially when another episode is just starting- I have to back off the self-pressure because it just kicks me deeper into the abyss :( It isn't easy to do and I'm not always successful but it's the only way I can fight the depression so I try.

All we can do is give each day our best with a determinatiobn to keep going and to try to maike things better where we can. With depression it's always a struggle or a worrisome fear that the next really bad episode is about to happen :crybaby: One he!! of a way to have to live but we've got to try.
