  1. However don't google too much. There are photos out there and they're very much in the "cannot unsee" category! Back to the original matter, there's a very clear and deliberate barrier to prevent stuff that should run via the operating system (applications like MSPaint, Word, Excel, etc, etc, etc) from running via the browser without explicit user consent. It's what keeps you safe on the internet and you really shouldn't tweak your browser settings to override it (I believe that in Firefox, you can't) unless you *really* know what you're doing. Allowing Windows applications (.exe files) to be launched by the browser unhindered by security alerts and whatnot is like wearing a cloth diaper without plastic pants... Sure, you can pee but you risk a big puddle of problems!
  2. It can be, if people want... but nobody logged in for about 6 weeks aside from myself and one griefer who tried to op themselves and spawn a shit-ton of wool... So I came to the conclusion that there was no real interest
  3. You all know that show is scripted, right?
  4. Three co-sponsors pull their support for the bills (1 SOPA, 2 PIPA): http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/technology/2012/01/sopa-blackout-sopa-and-pipa-lose-three-co-sponsors-in-congress.html Oh, and xkcd (there's a hidden message in it )
  5. The blackouts are about awareness not sacrifice. Tech-aware people already know all about SOPA and what's wrong with it. Blacking out Wiki and making a loud statement on Google is about making sure that as many people as possible find out what's going on, including those who don't read the technology press. You'll notice that the blackout has coverage on the mainstream media today - even though the big 4 networks, News Corp, etc, are stong supporters of SOPA and they don't particularly want to promote the negative arguments about it, the protest has become big enough that they can't ignore it
  6. Plenty of people would argue that's the one thing that the Federal Govt. excels at Anyway, since when was common sense and rationality an influence in the House/Congress? The reason we're seeing these bills isn't because the representatives think piracy is a problem or that it's a problem they can solve. We're seeing these bills because the media industry lobbyists are paying them to push it through. Pause for thought - how much have you seen about the SOPA/PIPA protests on ABC/FOX/NBC/CBS news? Wonder why?!
  7. 1) SOPA ain't dead yet. It's still on the schedules and the DNS blocking clause is still in the text. 2) While there have been steps towards killing SOPA (House bill) in the last few days, PIPA (also known as PROTECT-IP, the Senate bill) is still absolutely alive and kicking complete with it's own website blocking powers. They both must die in burning pit of lava...
  8. They don't seem to take much care over getting their listings right - wrong price (I assume a decimal place slipped a few?!), false contact info (address and email listed are fake) and if you look at their other items, one thing stood out on most of them:
  9. A toddler size Snappi (#2) measures about 7" from side to side and as above, you can stretch it about another inch or so further than that. So if you're diapers are folded such that the two sides come within that distance in the front, you can use just one Snappi, otherwise you'd need one for each side. Also make sure that all four of the 'teeth' on each point are gripping the diaper otherwise they can come loose. You certainly don't need more than one in terms of grip strength - these things hold on tight!
  10. Not just that you prefer them, but why, so that Gary can hopefully pass his customer's comments on to Abena. It's important because of this: Chances to tell a major diaper manufacturer why cloth cover is inferior to plastic and have them actually listen do not come along very often. I can't remember any non-ABDL specific manufacturer ever doing that. I know it's not just North American users who prefer plastic backings so it's also evident that people outside North America clearly need to speak up and quickly. I wondered when I first read their statement if the reason they haven't had such a strong reaction from their other markets is because in Europe in particular, Abena's largest customers are mostly going to be purchasing departments of large nationalised healthcare providers who don't really care what the backing is (although their onward users might when they find out) whereas in America, there are very few (if any) major healthcare systems that directly purchase diapers for their customers and so there's a much higher proportion of private buyers who are clued in about what they're buying because they're using them personally or directly caring for somebody. So if European ABDLs and incontinent people who prefer plastic-backed Abenas want to be heard, they need to shout loudly enough to be heard over Abena's massive customers.
  11. Last I heard, the USA and Canada have got a repreive on this, for the time being at least: http://www.reddit.co..._production_of/ (see post by ultrapampers) "Comfort" is the Abriform range, "Delta" is the Deltaform range obviously, "PE" is polyethlyene (plastic backing) and "TBS" is non-woven cloth-like backing. So in North America at least, the M4 and L4 with plastic backing are secure for 6 months at least and the other absorbencies and sizes are secure for "right now" but still expected to be discontinued. I think basically it's because they've overstretched themselves with too many different but similar product lines and want to trim down the range.
  12. US immigration (the passport control people) have dug through my checked luggage with AB gear in the past. She asked me what "they" (diapers, Tena Slips, I think) were and I told her it was for a nighttime issue. With diapers, paci, bottles, powder, etc, I doubt she bought it that they were for bedwetting but she was far more embarrased than me. Serves her right Dig through people's luggage, it's your problem if you see something that weirds you out I'm always one of those people randomly selected for extra screening at the airport (really, it's every damn time - random my arse) and I've had my carry-on with two diapers in it hand-searched in the public area. They didn't tip it out or anything, just looked around inside and swabbed it with the explosives what-ja-ma-call-it. No big deal was made of it. People go through with diapers every day, it's not unusual and the vast majority won't have a problem with it. That said, there's a reason I don't put on diapers until I'm the other side of security
  13. No. Think about it for just a moment. How would you like to know that she likes being tied up and whipped while being told she's a naughty girl? I didn't think so. So how much do you think she wants to know what turns you on?
  14. A proper Nuk 5 is latex, which some people are alergic to. It can also deteriorate over time and feels different to silicone which is smother and (IMO) harder. Older baby pacifiers were latex, now they're almost universally silicone. I prefer latex TBH...
  15. Have you watched The IT Crowd? (different kind of show but same writer, very funny)
