skyrasaur
Hello! Long time lurker first time poster here. I Just wanted to share my story for other significant others who find out about their loved ones. So about a month ago I discovered my boyfriend was a diaper lover, and honestly I am less than proud of the way I handled it. I blew up on him, telling him it was wierd and also letting him know that I found it hard to be sexual with him ever again. After finding this website and reading about other girl's reactions, I felt I was too harsh and decided to try wearing a diaper. My boyfriend was ecstatic to hear my news and about 2 weeks ago we decided to wear together. That day everything fell into perspective. I LOVED wearing that diaper. I couldn't believe it. I eventually started wearing more often and now I wear almost everyday. My relationship with my boyfriend has flourished and honestly our dl lifestyle is making us closer. I just want other non dls to know that when you keep an open mind, you never know what you may discover. 1 Link to comment
Guest YoungZeppelin
Thanks for the story and glad to hear that your relationship is standing strong. The problem with AB/DL, and this might have been ur problem, is the instant misunderstanding and stigma held on such things. People have a sense of a Link to comment

Baby Brian
Believe it or not, your initial reaction is more common than you might think. Diapers are great and I really don't understand why society in general has placed so much hatred towards wearing them. Most people just fall in line and perpetuate the stigma. It's great to see you opened this book to really judge it for your self. Careful though, you may not be able to put them back down. Link to comment
skyrasaur
They are great. Honestly my initial problem was when I saw that ab episode of tlc "my strange addiction"... it's like the second I heard him say he liked wearing diapers I thought of him dressed up like a child, walking around and acting as a kid (which I have nothing against, I'm just not into that relationship wise.) But after he told me more I realized it wasn't as terrible as I suspected, and honestly after joining this site and doing research, I find that tv shows like that really blow this whole thing out of proportion. Baby Brian
I swear, the TV has got to be the worst way to get information of any kind from, it surprises me it's the first place most of us get it from though. I am so glad it dropped my satellite cable. I don't miss it either thanks to hulu plus and netflix. Link to comment

skyrasaur
You say you are a long time lurker. Were you lurking here before your BF told you he was a DL? I started lurking the day he told me, and honestly have been on almost every day since. 1 Link to comment
