Hi everyone, I am new to posting bit have been learking for a while. I have been contemplating the whole incontinence thing and it struck me I don't have an answer as to why, just that I want to be. is anyone else like me and just not know why they want to join the ranks of the incontinent?

Much like so many other identity issues, it isn't easy to piece together a foundational explanation. I know I crave the surrender of my control, most especially for my lover to sieze control of something so intimate.

I've pondered my own reasons quite often. Although I have a few ideas why I may like diapers, I never have been able to infer that aha moment of exactly why. Like so many others I just do, and have just had to come to terms with it.

All morning long I felt the strong urge to diaper up, to the point of distraction, finally did, and have been in an increasingly wet diaper the rest of the day so far.

Diaper wearing for any DL is no different then a food or drink some ones truly enjoys. I believe someone mentioned this somewhere here before, but... when a person is born, the brain is left with whole for information and personality to develope. This is so a human be better adapt to their environment at a young age. One of the things that we learn at a extremely young age is likes and dislikes, or simply, our pleasures. This can include the way we feel and look about ourselves, including fetishes, gender identity, and sexual interests. Now this might seem extreme for a baby to be interested in fetishes, but its only at a simplistic level. Such as pain might be felt differently from one person to another, or, for DLs, the idea that being padded is fun and relaxing. For me, I always loved diapers and could never explain it. We start to gain our earliest true interests, fantasies, and memories around 2-5, and being that i wasn't fully potty trained till 3 1/2, started at 3 and it took me awhile, i was able to form the idea that diapers are okay. Now i could also say my childhood bad experiences, which i don't feel like i should mention here, could also play an influence, but I do remember being happy in diapers at such age and I guess today I still crave that happiness.

I am no expert but I think it has something to do with going back to a time when you had no responsibilities. All I know is now I have accepted and embraced my incontinence I am a much calmer less stressed person. Being incontinent is not a walk in the park and there will be times when it is very inconvenient but on the whole I have to say my life is better for being this way.

I decided to be incontinent because all of my life I have been facinated with wearing diapers and did so as often as I could. Four years ago I gathered as much information as I could about wearing diapers full time and decided that this was what I wanted and needed. I came to the realization that my love for diapers was never going to go away and that my happiest moments in life were when I was diapered. This was all the assurance I needed. I have been diapered full time, comfortable with myself, and comfortable with telling others and not worrying about what others thought. I will be diapered for the rest of my life due to need now and my desire will never go away. This is why I knew incontinence was the way to go.
