I went thru some of the same things as you. Had awful spasms for 3 months, following prostrate surgery ( a proceedure called TURP, that went bad).
I releyed on cloth for most of the days, and all of the nights. couldn't find a disposable that was reliable. I did plastic pants all the time.
I am a DL, have been for many years, but being 24/7 strained that quite a bit, the pain didn't help either.
I have used Comco for years. Be a shame if they are gone.
I did buy some pants at Fetware, same fabric, fold over elastic, very nice. Specify the 7 mil fabric.
I've bought from Angel Fluff many times. None of my diapers from them have terry as a filler. The few I have that use terry are very tough to dry, like two full 70 min. cycles.
Hi. Milwaukee here too (just North-Mequon). Love to chat if you like. Life long (almost) diaper wearer here, but a DL and CD, not an AB (tried it, didn't do much for me).
My e-mail is skip4164@att.net if you want to talk.
I like Fetware, the hi-back style, the best. Can get heavy or light fabric styles, lots of prints and colors, etc. Prices are in-line for the quality they sell.
The only problem I found is their snap on's, the bottom and top snaps are in the plastic fabric, instead of in the elastic, like Comco.
Plastic pants baby here too, about the same age too. I think they have kinda gone away, except for the moms who want to be eco-friendly, and use cloth.
