  1. Just thought I'd post, I ordered a case of larges last week direct from Dry 247 in large. I got them today, and they are the white ones which XP also has. Was hoping for peach but its okay, they're still great diapers. The website still lists them as peach and theyre like 5 bucks more, so just a heads-up to anyone trying to get the peach ones, you won't.
  2. They seem to be made on the same machine as the new bellissimos. I used to wear x-large bianco and classicos and they fit well. The new bellissimo fit well in large size (the first run). I only have one bambino bianco XL and also a large dry 24/7 to compare the new Secure to. The width of the new Secure is about 1-2 inches wider in the crotch than the bambino. The padding on the front wings runs about a half inch wider on the new Secure than the XL bambino. The padding in the back is also about a half inch wider and taller on the new Secure. The XL bambino runs about a quarter inch longer lengthwise in plastic from back to front but about the same in the wings. The new secures are made of the same outershell plastic of the bellissimos it seems. They also have the wavey purple front panel which seems to be about the same size on the bambino and secure. I'm glad they're about the same size because bambino and secure both seem to have dropped their XL sizes but these new larges will fill the spot nicely. The large dry247 is just bigger in every possible way. Can't compare absorbency yet but the dry has not been bested yet. I'm sorry I don't have any larges to compare it to, but needless to say the new Secure is probably bigger. I've not tried them on yet, still have my morning diaper on but I'll report back when I give em a test drive.
  3. Medium and Large in stock. This coincides with the bambino bellissimo shipments so I'd assume they might be a bit different than before. Ordering a sample pack now, so I'll be able to update on them on Tuesday
  4. Just wondering if anyone had been in contact with Secure or Bambino about the unavailability of their diapers? Bambino has been out of stock on the Bellissimo (which was kinda expected) and Secure has been out of stock of the XPlus for months now. I'm getting ready to place an order, and while I could order the bambino biancos instead of my usual XPlus' I have found that the Secure's lower tapes hold a bit better than the biancos. I was going to order bellissimos instead of the Xplus this round but apparently I can't get either. I realize I could contact them myself, but I figure someone here probably already has and I hate to bother customer service. Anyone heard from them?
  5. Could look into Chantix. Its about 130 dollars a month. Still not cheap, but most everyone that starts it quits. Only real side effect I've heard was some odd dreams. You can smoke on it for the first week or so, but it blocks your bodies nicotine paths so the nicotine will stop affecting you.
  6. Eeeee! Thank you! I love it. Definitely getting them now. The white ones were great but that hint of pink is a deal breaker
  7. I'm wondering if I order larges straight from the manufacturer what color is their 'peach'? Can't find a picture anywhere, only of the white ones from XP. I love the 24/7 and a pinkish/peach color sounds fun, I just want to know exactly what it looks like before I spend money on them.
  8. Speaking with job experience, Metadate (and all of the narcotic Schedule 2 ADD/ADHD medications) are to put it in simple terms forms of methamphetamine. In fact the class of drug is an amphetamine. The statement that goes with medications are that your doctor believes the benefit of the medication is higher than the risk of side effect. You say you've been on the med 8 years, were you originally diagnosed as a child? Most people were diagnosed but never truly needed such strong medications. These are some serious medications; would you give speed to a 14 year old? Granted that is an extreme statement but it's true to an extent. Also a note is you say you've been on them for 8 years, you're addicted to the medication assuming you take it daily. Your body becomes used to the medications effects and you'll suffer withdrawls if you attempt to stop it without supervision. This is one of the main reasons these drugs are Schedule 2, the potential for addiction is insanely high as is the potential for abuse. The idea that you wouldn't experience more side effects the longer you are on the medication is stupid.
  9. Had the same problem when the larges came out with the classico tapes. The panel on the teddy doesn't have the packing tape like front panel and I think that's the problem. I ended up using three or four before I threw the rest of the bag out because it was annoying and made them unusable.
  10. I get my stuff delivered to a UPS store but I have a box with them. It costs 240/yr or 120/6 months. I get boxes every month or so and they know me as the guy who always gets big packages. They're all very professional and cool people, probably just my store though. Never had anything delivered with a hold for pickup there as I have the box with them. They also offer to text you or email you when a package comes in for an extra fee so you don't have to go there 'just to check'. If you order from XP medical you can find out from fedex where their closest sorting facility to you is and they also do hold for pickups there (though the closest to me is 40 minutes away). On my recent order, when you look up the tracking number they offer to hold it for pickup somewhere instead of delivering it (as its cheaper for them) right on the tracking page
  11. Just got a bag of these yesterday and have tried a few since. First thing I noticed is a very piney smell when opening the bag and every time I open a new diaper...interesting. The first one I wet about 5-7 times before it started to really get full. I wore one to bed last night with a totaldry booster after a night of drinking and didn't leak but woke up with a soaked diaper. The tapes didn't budge, though they're like abena or molicare, blue/white two part tape and one try and that's it. Even fully loaded the diaper didn't sag or fall down at all. I'm very impressed, first diaper that didn't leak even a little bit overnight. The padding is a little odd in that it doesn't go all the way to the top of the plastic but the extra plastic length seems to hold the diaper up on my hips a bit better than other diapers. Also there seems to be extra plastic material at the back of the thighs were the fluff begins to fan out again and having a bigger bum I appreciate not having to worry about leaks there with the extra plastic. I think I just might be buying a case after I finish this bag. Also, I ordered the larges from XP Medical and they are indeed all white. They have a bit of blue writing down the center of the diaper which serves as a wetness indicator. Overall, awesome.
  12. Just received a case of biancos dated 12/24/9 with no problems at all. Great bambinos as always
  13. It's one thing to post asking for donations in one place. Spamming it in other threads is another story...
  14. More absorbent material with tapes strong enough to hold such a thing. I also would expand the absorbent material to the ends of the wings. Being a side sleeper I tend to leak if I'm laying down and if they would only expand the material to the end of the plastic it would remedy it.
  15. Looks more like Carotte works' to me. Foxtalestimes.
