BabyJune
Do you like the feel of a soft, flowy, drapey dress? Then check out the one I just finished. The photo online also showed a matching pair of chevron leggings. I chose to make my outfit in green because I have lots of pink dresses. Loving it so much that I might never take it off! Joanne_chan
Green isn't my colour but I like how you've put that together, June. Link to comment
Little BabyDoll Christine
I am a full-skirt girl Also my legs are cute so why cover them up if I do not have to, even though Lady Tiara (tiara fairy) teases me about having boney knees Link to comment
BabyJune
I'll admit that green is probably not the best color. The dress is actually more "lime" than the picture shows. I used green because I have lots of pink and yellow dresses. There isn't a wide choice of colors in jersey from fabric.com, especially in matching chevron material for the tights. And Christine, my legs are NOT cute; that's why I cover them. Besides, I wanted to imitate the look in the original picture. Also for Christine, I, too, prefer full skirts but this particular design didn't call for it. It's like a game for me to find little girl outfits online and make them as close to an exact duplicate of the original outfit as I can in my size. Link to comment
Little BabyDoll Christine
When you, Joanne and Rachel were little, tights were pretty commonplace. When I was, they were just about unknown and rhumba and fancy panties were non-existent Still, I am glad that you put your dresses in the Little Girls' Playhouse where they can be appreciated without any un-girlish agenda Link to comment
Rachel Emily
I have to say I'm fond of full skirts myself, though I'm flexible when it comes to little-girl styles. I am definitely going to have to get BabyJune's book now. Link to comment
