Abc'S The Middle (Spoilers)

This weeks episode was loaded with refrences.

Sue starts a babySUEtting service and her first client in a 14 year old boy who "Needs to wear his pull-ups to bed, but don't call them diapers or he will freak out! They are his special space pants."

The boy also thinks HE is the babysitter, so to try and get him to wear his Sue confesses that she is a bedwetter and needs to wear her space pants before she "rockets" off to sleep.

Eventually, overwhelmed, Sue calls her Dad in who walks into the house and tells the boy "It's time to go to bed... and put your diapers on!

At the end, Dad walks into the kitchen at home - his shirt torn and looking disheveled. Sue asks what happened, and Dad just say "He freaked out!"

I saw that episode. The Middle is a surprisingly funny show. I always cringe a bit when diapers are mentioned on television, though. Probably because there is usually someone sitting in the room at the time. And I figure that my secret will be out...

Anyway, back to the episode, the kid that Sue babysits is from those Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies. He definitely grew up since then.
