Pipsqueak Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 I only wore cloth when I was a baby (the first time around, that is ). But I love disposables! I bought cloth and plastic pants and while they're nice and soft and very thick it just didn't do it for me, so I went right back to my disposables.
Simba Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 Definitely thick terry cloth - what I was in for the first 3 years, and have never stopped! The plastic pants make it complete - white, strong elastics and noisy!!
bedwetter669 Posted October 6, 2007 Posted October 6, 2007 cloth diapers are much cheaper in the long term. initial cost is sometimes prohibitive, but cloth diapers with proper care will last for years
grayfile Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 I use disposables, but I also use cloth baby diapers as stuffers. Add a couple of them and the absorbancy goes up tremendusly. The other nice part about using cloth baby diapers this way is that I save a ton of money on stuffers.
ajc2000 Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 What!! No Both option!!! I use disposable most but at night I wear a cloth over the top of a disposable for extra protection incase of leakes in the night. Also love the extra bulk when I do and have started to wear both in my ab play as well.
Pull-ups man Posted October 7, 2007 Posted October 7, 2007 Have you ever tried cloth diapers? no, but i have some very good reasons to... btw. i have a problem with my DL thing... where should i post something i need help with? thx Pull-ups man
Guest Quiet Guy Posted October 9, 2007 Posted October 9, 2007 Cloth all the way. I'm only an occasional user, due to circumstances, but there is nothing like a soft cloth diaper, baby powder, and a pair of plastic pants.
Guest Guest_WetTim_* Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 I prefer cloth at night and both during the daytime
nappyloon Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 I love "Cloth and Plastic Pants" but they just do not have enough absorbancy for me and are also much too bulky ! So it's disposables all the time 24/7 for me.
babyjoe Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 I wear cloth diapers with plastic pants 24/7. The only time I wear disposables is when I go to the doctor.
diapered_josh Posted October 10, 2007 Posted October 10, 2007 Disposable diapers just feel so much more secure and they seem to hold alot more then cloth when u hve night time problems
Guest Guest Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 I like disposables best their more comfortable and you don't have to wash them.
MommyScarlet Posted October 11, 2007 Posted October 11, 2007 I prefer the term Diapered Dinosaur. Cloth is much better. HaHa, I prefer diapering in cloth. Seems to be the minority.
Guest Guest_Brad_* Posted October 13, 2007 Posted October 13, 2007 I like them both, I love to wear a disposeable, and after I wet it and it starts to leak, I change to cloth, but cloth has its advantages, and its disavantages also, I like the bulk, but when its wet it looses it, it does last longer than a disposeable, because you can get the entire diaper wet, before it starts to leak. And I like a disposeable when they swell, especially with a baby diaper stuffer, I also use plastic pants with both cloth and disposables, just more crinkel i know they r comfy but witch do u perfer more disosable or cloth anyways r your diapers really thick
softndry Posted October 14, 2007 Posted October 14, 2007 Thick, soft, dry flannel cloth diapers and plastic pants fit the need for me. disposable just do not seem to fill the need for diapers for me.
DependableSoftie Posted October 15, 2007 Posted October 15, 2007 I used cloth (folded flannel bedsheet) when I was just starting to explore, but disposables seem so much more practical now... I wore dispoables as a baby and during my bedwetting years so that might explain that. I prefer to be discreet when in public as well.
StillinDi Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 In my case I'd say Disposables. The reason for this is because Disposables is a major turn on for me, Cloth is not. Disposables has a great padded smooth feeling to it. When I first started out as an AB, I used bath towels hehehe but nothing can beat disposables. Maybe I like disposables because I used them when I was a child many years ago.
4mywetself11 Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 I love my disposables. Like the convenience and feel and yes, childhood memories . If one of you clothies want to send free samples I am ooen to experimentation.
Guest Baby Lonny Posted October 16, 2007 Posted October 16, 2007 Well, my mommy makes me wear about 5 Luvs Bear Hug Stretch diapers all at once.
Guest Guest_Day_* Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Well, my mommy makes me wear about 5 Luvs Bear Hug Stretch diapers all at once.
Guest Guest_Day_* Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Well, my mommy makes me wear about 5 Luvs Bear Hug Stretch diapers all at once. I like disposable myself, it's the sound and smell which makes it!
Baby D Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 I definitely prefer cloth over disposables. However, I use disposables 95% of the time because I do not have the time needed to devote to the extra care cloth diapers require. Does this mean I'm a dinosaur too? Boy, maybe I need to make a trip to the store for some hair dye, some wrinkle creams and then make an appointment to see about some botox injections! On second thought, staying at home in a diaper and playing sounds like much more fun!
Guest Guest_mommy loves babies_* Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 Cloth is all i ever use on all my babies, both big and small. I think nice thick cloth and pretty plastic pants make all you bigger babies look more like real babies. I tend to leave off their pants so i can see them in just the cloth diapers and plastic pants. Soooooo cute!!!
Guest Guest Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 I would say both cloth for around the house, disposible when you go out Quickie: Cloth or Disposable
ron_z54 Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 I like cloth for around the house but disposibles are great when I go out and about. Quickie: Cloth or Disposable
