I really don't know what happened, but it sounds like a few people got too big for their britches. Based on the message, it seems like it would be nice to see the owner/s of the anti LGBT comments own up and take some responsibility so they can be removed and the chat restored.

All I do is say "SEX!!!" once in a blue and just chat with friends. As far as what happened to warrant the shut-down, I have zero responsibility for it, since I try to avoid drama and I am not LGBT-hostile. Whatever opinions anyone has about me is none of my concern and they need to keep it to themselves. If I have opinions, I am discreet enough to keep them in Private Chat.

I heard that one of the staff members were throwing around a transgirls former name very publicly to try and hurt said girl. That's pretty harmful behavior, IMO. But then that's just a rumor.

Learning to walk away from an argument is a long hard lesson to learn, at least in my experience. I totally agree with Betty that it's a lesson worth learning even if it's something I still struggle with doing myself. I'm 32 and have been online and in chatrooms since I was in 4th grade and yet I still sometimes find myself banging my head against a wall arguing with someone about something I don't actually even care about.

Then report it and get it fixed if you feel you are in the right and were treated wrongly! Don't go on a tirade because a post you made on a thread that you did not start was hidden. It makes you seem immature and silly. And pay in mind, I'm not saying you attacked her. All I'm saying is you're both causing the kind of drama that got the chat closed in the first place. Especially in a time period where causing drama will not fix the situation any but in fact make it worse.
