I was on the night All of this went down and I dont think Andi was in the wrong in anyway. Yeah we have all seen her do the kicking of friends heck I was one of them, BUT we have always had and agreement for pm and what not so I understood it. Now I dont think Andi should be condoned for doing what Piper told her to do with the political thing. As for the Sojo thing yeah that whole ordeal wasnt even cool, He BROUGHT IT ON HIMSELF. I was on and know that he did in fact throw the First stone!!!! NOW One thing I dont get is when ever something happens on chat Andi seems to get the blame whether she was right or wrong.

PERSONALLY, i agree with the NO POLITICS that was put in effect on election night. there are so many people hot headed on EITHER side, i didn't want to see or hear one word from ANY party about what was going on. Though censorship isn't looked kindly, sometimes it is necessary. Otherwise well, I could come on the chat and go into a lovely graphic decription on a constant about my genitals if you really REALLy want. Just sayin.. Now that aside.....

I have seen nothing wrong with either of the mods that have been "called out" being Andrea and Piper. Though true I have been scarce in the chat for reasons that I shall not post, when I have been in chat they have NOT in my eyes caused any issues. They dealt with those who PM with out asking permission, they do their best to try to assist members in verifications, they hep those with issues in the chat and on the boards. This is what I have seen with my own eyes. Sure, they will boot one another for kicks, or joke about kicking a member such as myself, and honestly, I don't mind. I don't over read things and take it personally when it is on the surface and behind the scenes A GAG. Look at my name carefully, i know when it's a frackin joke. Plus, I have actually been on this site since well at least 2003/2004. I've put time into hanging out here, I think that they (andrea n piper) are doing a pretty damn good job.

Now there are things i would like to see changed, but that is due to my own PERSONAL reasons, and that has no significance here (unless DD wants to FINALLY install that ignore button for the room).

I believe those with a hair up their butt, is just looking for a reason to be whiney or else they just used a diaper made of hair (ewwwwww).

And Yes I am a Mod/Admin and yes I kick people for the fun of it, but usually other mods And those that know what I am doing it for. I have a kick button for chat, a ban button for chat, a suspend button (with fill in the blank for time) from site. A delete your account button, a ban your happy ass from the site, including your IP if I chose. Hell I got buttons coming outta my Arse. The thing is most times I use some of these buttons to help people or the site. Other times I have to, as much as I dislike, to use them to stop stupid shit from getting worse.

For those of you putting me as some kind of Mod boss, I am not. I am no more in charge of anything than say our newer Mods. We all can do the same things. Granted I have been a Mod longer than most, but that doesn't give me more authority. If you have a problem with me or any other Mod then all you have to do is file a report. IF I would have been in chat when this all happened I would have first kicked then probably Banned Sojo for a bit from chat If it persisted till I got it all sorted.

I do not take kindly to any member getting the FU said to them. That is a personal attack, and that is not okay, and be it known is not allowed on this site. To do it to a Mod is the equal of walking up to a Police officer and saying it. So those that are reading this know this. It will not be tolerated!

As far as Sojo goes, He is a long and respected member of this site. I have known him for many years, and this isn't his normal manner. He has helped me through some pretty tough times in my life. That being said, while as DD said I think he felt anguish and fed up with things and took it out the wrong way. While I understand these things happen. I do not condone the way things went. Sojo you know better! I expect better of you. I am abiding by the one and Only broke back pole digging Admin site owner of this site. If he says let sleeping dogs lie, than that is it. I ask all those involved and members to let this die and harbor no hard feelings either way. That is all, carry on. Feel free to keep posting in this thread gang.

And yeah, I remember having the Mod Election, but how about having term limits on them? If I was ever a mod, I'd probably wanna take a step back and chillax a while.

Having the rules stickied in the chat forum and then a hyperlink to them in the Chat splash screen would be a good idea, I don't even know what all the rules are.

working on finalizing all the rules now. And yeah Ass would have worked. As for term limits. I feel just like congress.. you can vote me out, but I still get paid for life..so why bother but Alas I I ain't paid so the point is moot! Anyway when I need a break I have a section for just Mods to read and we post in there so the others know where we are and what we are doing and such.

Mods/Admin same thing Short for forums/chat Moderator and Main Site Admin (Which means I can turn things on and off and adjust the site if need be.)

For starters on election night. I was in chat that morning and later on that evening as well  There was a lot of bickering about political issues an candidates that day. Last time I checked though, we all come from a nation that was founded on the freedom of speech and a public forum is exactly the place to express opinions. All that didn't like the topic that day were also free to do as I did and just stay out of chat for the day. I never agreed to a rule stating I would not engage in political Conversation and the mods had no right to instate and enforce such a rule! I immediately lost what little respect I had left for the two of them. 

Secondly, Andi is constantly being verbally abusive to other members. She has flat out stated she is the mod so she will do what he wants. She likes to run her mouth about people even after she kicks them. Instead of trying to teach people about the rules, she chooses to kick them and then remain abusive to them. I think she gets off on being mean to people. I'm surprised she has not been reported before now. I have also heard rumors that she likes to read the pm's that occur in the chat.. Just a rumor, but FYI everyone! Your private conversations probably are not that private!

Finally, WarPiper also abused his powers as a chat mod. He has been known to ban people for no reason, and he has previously banned me for something that occurred on another website. He puts his personal friendships and relationships above the rules. What takes place in a personal conversation outside of Daily Diapers is no business of his and he had no right to ban me for it. He did not even attempt to get the full story and I am sure he never heard about the threats that were made to me as well.  I obeyed the rules while in daily diapers and he never came to me to express his thoughts or opinions first. I guess it really just comes down to who you know or who you are friends with as Penelope stated.  That being said, they can never truly ban someone. 

The past few weeks, I have been on the outside looking in. From this perspective,  it has become quite apparent that unless DD makes some changes the website and community will continue to deteriorate.

i agree with the chubster. I've been in the chat for a long while and I haven't seen any of this bs. I've seen verbal warnings given out, for pming without asking, or for herassment or other things against the RULES that are on the site.

oh.... and allie if you want to talk about freedom of speech, go to your local airport and say "I HAVE A BOMB" see what your free speech gets you there. the true power comes not from speaking, but knowing when not to or what not to say. There is plenty that one CAN say, but it's a question of do you have enough restraint to know what you should NOT say and keeping it that way.....

its the internet you know how many times people have said rude things to me or mods on sites i go to pick on me when the other person starts crap.

I realized that if your going to go on to a site you dont own, or have some kinda control over like being a mod then be prepared to get mad alot and if you cant then just leave and save yourself the stress

I've been taking a vacation from the Mod work for awhile since we've gotten enough Mods to cover things well now. I haven't read many of the reports lately and I'm not going to bother looking into this one. What I'm here to say is that Members don't see a lot of what goes on, but all Mods see what all Mods do, and if we have thoughts on these matters we discuss them in a closed forum the Members cannot see and believe me, there is a lot said in there concerning how things are done and it's not all nice

You think it's bad here? I know a forum where you are not allowed to speak about a Mod's actions in any way or you get IP banned- that includes asking where a member who got banned went even of you did not know they were banned!. Some sites have a list of prohibited topics filling a whole page- not much to say when you can't say anything. Some sites have rules so complex and extensive that you can hardly say "Hello" without breaking a rule. On another site where membership has to be pre-approved, I got chewed out because I didn't put my first post in the "Introduce Yourself" forum, a site rule that was only to be found in the opening page of that forum. I pointed out to them that I had read and complied with the list of rules that had sent me before they approved me, and that "Introduction" rule wasn't in there. I got neither an apology nor did they add that rule to the list sent to new members- some a$$hat is still getting his jollies jumping down the throat of nearly every new member that come to his site. I've been suspended for posting more than 3 posts and/or replies in a 24 hour period in another place where the rule for that wasn't easily found. I've had posts and threads removed for breaking rules that were not even stated anywhere- they took down anything they simply didn't like. On the other end I was once on a great forum till trolls came in and ran everyone off because the site owner had a "No moderation for any reason" attitude, thinking that it was the way to achieve truly free speech. A year after I left it was a shambles and filled with Spam and solicitations and rants which were completely off topic. I did a search for some of the good people who were once there- they had left soon after I did and hadn't come back. Even the early Trolls who started the push that destroyed the site were long gone- they had made it so bad that they themselves didn't want to be there anymore!

I'm still site owner or co-owner of a couple active sites with forums and a couple inactive ones, and I was once at the level with a few others. I was Moderator at twice that many, and still am at 3 or 4 which I don't go to anymore. Take it from someone who's seen both sides of this, good rules and good mods are rare but we have both here. That doesn't mean we never err- we're all human so that's going to happen, just like it does with you. And while I don't want any good people to leave here, if all you can do is complain and bash others, then maybe we'd all be better off apart. And if you think you're immune to the rules, you will find that you are not- we care about this site and we will not see the few ruin it for the many. The only thing we Mods get from all the time we spend taking care of this site is knowing that almost all of you are going to have a really good time here. For me, that's enough. And for you, when I think it's time to leave here you might want to think about doing the same yourself because I don't give up on a good thing very easily, and this site is a very good thing.

Amen & I agree with this. I used to go into chat a lot, & eventhough I wasn't always very talkative, I did enjoy the conversation. After awhile though things really deteriorated from multiple things already previously posted in other's posts (but not moderation or things of that nature, but rather idiots etc.) so therefore that is why I stopped going into Chat altogether. That doesn't stop me from coming onto the site & reading & posting on the boards. I still love DD & I am glad to be a member. Long Live Daily Diapers!

Ok so I have two people that I quoted here. One being the accusations of *Baby_Allie* Well heres the thing... This is a member who I've seen in chat but not heard a word out of really , if ever... but now we get this. Shes been here all of a few weeks time, but was a member prior too... Interesting. This appears to be a person who is upset that she was forced to leave a website against her will because of something she did. So she has chosen to use something that someone else has started as a way to instigate and make matters worse, and make herself get some type of retribution and feel better in turn. Kinda sad if you ask me. But hey, if thats how you live your life then more power to you. Whatever.

As far as your accusations... ummm completely false... Im not even wasting my breath on replying to them... Not even the ones you made on Piper, seeing as you wont even come out directly and tell us who you are. If you feel that miffed by Piper and I, then that would be my suggestion to you. Come out and say hey, this is who I was... so that it can be investigated. Until you are willing to do this, Please stop throwing accusations around that are unfounded and not necessary.

Wasn't going to comment on this post, I've been friends with Sojo for a very long time and I'm friends with Andi too. However. I've decided I need to comment as I'm fed up of Sojo being made out to be a liar, I don't agree with everything he/ others have said but they do have a point.

Example, a few months ago me and Alex had some issues OUTSIDE of chat, in real life, that place that's moderated by policemen not chat mods. I received a private message from warpiper saying pretty much he knew that it wasn't effecting the site but he was banning me. It wasn't until I messages him back and explained the situation that he apologised and said he wouldn't ban me. It all worked out ok and I'm over it, I'm just using it as an example of inappropriate behaviour. It des exist.

You know my warning point? I got that for "attacking Alex" in chat.... You know who told me to "go fucking die?" Alex did. You know who didn't get in trouble? Alex. Yea I was wrong, I shouldn't have yelled at her and I wasn't nice, but neither was she. Again, I have no issue with Alex now but just wanted to give an example.

Was anyone in the chat during the election? That rule was so very very needed. So. Much. Stupid happened even with the rule..... Oh my days. The thing is, most people in chat are so damn dramatic, you give them a topic like politics and they'll all be threatening suicide.

They no typing all in caps thing? Is that a rule? I mean, typing all in caps is dumb but it seems like a redundant rule, more of an excuse to boss people around.

Sojo shutting sex? I shout sex too. It's a game we play. I also "flash my bewbwies" to Pudding when she comes in. You find it annoying? That's too bad. You know what I find annoying? Blasphemy, swearing and ppl hu typ lyk this. You know what I do about it? Nothing. I ignore it. And if there is too much stupid in chat for me to handle then I leave, which to be honest is pretty often at the moment.

I have who issues with any of the mods on a personal basis. I care about Andi and Alex a lot especially, they are my friends and I love them. I don't think this whole thing is their fault, the problem is people are people, people find things annoying and whine about it, they, as chat mods are expected to do something about it but they have no rules or guidelines to follow so they have to make them up.

So from my point of view it's all very easy, write some rules and guidelines and follow them. The past is in the past and nothing can be done about it now, mistakes were made but a lot of people, lets forget about it, let it go and move on. It's the Internet for goodness sake.

With actual rules to in force, structure. I think that Andi, Alex and Piper are a great choice for mods, they know the site well and are online all the time. Andi is also particularly good at spotting under age members.... It's like a super power.

Please don't take my post personally, it's not intended to single people out or upset anyone. Just giving my view on what happened.
