BabyTara Posted May 9, 2013 Posted May 9, 2013 Or you could *NOT* be lazy and actually physically check to see if your child needs changed. Ya know... be a parent. 2

Repaid1 Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Well I must admit, I never changed my kids if they pee'd their diapers. At least not the first pee or right away. I wouldn't let it get to leak zone either but if just #1 they had that sucker on for a hour or two So I don't need that thing telling me I "NEED" to change them. If not the child telling me by crying that it is uncomfortable or the pat on the tushie to check, I managed to raise two beautiful kids
Hookedondiapers Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Sounds like a way to get parents to change diapers more often than needed - a deceptive sales-increasing tactic.

Lanthey Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Wouldn't ever leave a baby in a wet diaper but if you actually interact with your child you can tell when they need changing. XD
wolfpup2008 Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Drawing on my experience of potty training my kids, there are some basic rules to follow: keep it positive, be clear about what "the right thing to do" is, change to a clean diaper as soon as it's wet or dirty... I don't see how this device would help with any of the above, except maybe knowing when your child's diaper is wet. But as an involved parent you pretty quickly develop a sense for that happening. But as a fetishist, this little gizmo gives me ideas: how about a mommy/daddy who wants to reward an AB for using his/her diaper? Or when I wear a catheter (modified or not) it'd be fun to get notified when the wetness of my diaper has reached a certain level.

BriGuy Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 From a fetish stand point.... I want one From a parenting stand point Fail... 1
DLdapper Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Yeah, I only see applications of this in the fetish community. I doubt many actual parents would buy this.
wolfpup2008 Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 Now here's something to consider who prefer and believe in the approach of "un-potty training": "automaticaly wet their diaper each time they hear anything that sounds like their diaper app" Would it work? (Personally I am tending more and more toward some form if sphincterotomy.)
BriGuy Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 I have no desire to be incontinent but it could be fun for mommy and me to play with when we are out and about!
whisko Posted May 12, 2013 Posted May 12, 2013 i am amazed that this device isn't against twitter's terms of service! i did some research and they have a whole document about "automation rules". i guess the tweetpee falls under the section called "automating your tweets based on an action you've completed"... considering that a wet diaper is technically the result of a completed urination action :-D

Crinklebritches Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Sounds like the biggest sales of this would come from AB/DL'S
Red Barchetta Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 From a fetish side of things I see the appeal XD I do Just don't get why actual parents would buy it XD
dl_ashlee Posted May 15, 2013 Posted May 15, 2013 Diaper Appy made me think of some TV Shows that had an app that allowed gay people to find nearby gays to meet up.
