nhdl Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 When the weather gets hot, humid and nasty, it seems to liquify my insides. Any connection between the weather and diahrrea? Sometimes I say thank goodness for diapers. Anyone else have any troubles during hot weather?
DiapermanAl Posted July 6, 2012 Posted July 6, 2012 Are you keeping hydrated? Thats the only thing i can think of.
nhdl Posted July 6, 2012 Author Posted July 6, 2012 I am keeping very hydrated. I live on water and gatorade in the summer.
BriGuy Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 It's probably the Gatorade giving you the runs. It has a fair amount of salt in it.
Bettypooh Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Water is best for hydration maintenance Cut down on the Gatorade and you should do better. If you're hydrated and stay that way, you don't need any extra electrolytes and your body will have to pass them on somewhere Bettypooh
Darkfinn Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Don't drink the gatorade if you don't need it. Water is great, but you can overload on that too. Proper hydration without overhydrating is the key.
Yuna Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 My body totally freaks out in a few ways once the weather gets to be over 75F ish for a day or two, then for up to a week I will have....oh god...you know...like comming out of me all the time. It was especially bad when I lived in Japan. But once the weather stays like that for over a week or two, I will become magically regular again until the temp drops below about 70F for a day or two and then I get the same kind of sickness for less time, but still like 5 days.
