1) I bought it... actually I bought a little selection of different ones.... probably of EBay....Wow that was a long time ago!

2) I only wore it.... I was too nervous to do anything else, strangely enough I think I was too excited to wet it too!

3) I think the first one I tried from my little selection was an Abena Abri-form (not sure which)

As Freta said, my first was a cloth diaper - one I made myself by sewing together pairs of baby receiving blankets.

My answers refer to my first disposable which came a little later. It was a Depend which I'd gotten up the courage to buy. I'm sure I wet it, not sure if I came in it, and though I didn't answer this way, I might have messed it as well since I began using disposables under cloth to poop without messing the cloth.

Technically, I didn't "Steal" it- it was in my closet from when I was younger...one pull-up. I wet it, and used it for about 48 hours before throwing it out.

Later, though, I did steal diapers from my nephews- a few lying around. Didn't get caught, but eventually managed to work with that. I sorta had them given to me- but I had to fake extremely mild incontinence.

I thought of a few different answers. I chose to answer about the first diaper I got that really fit me (bought it, used it for everything, Depend). But I did steal a baby diaper once, a few years before that, and tried to squeeze into it. Couldn't do it, though.

My first diaper was from a pair of Huggies that my much younger cousins accidentally left at our house one evening (so the "stealing" is technical; more like they just "disappeared"). I remember putting one on in the bathroom and finding that it didn't fit me. I was 12 at the time and starting to get interested in diapers. It would fit me from the front to the back, but not side to side, so I couldn't tape it up. I ended up using my belt to hold the diaper in place, and then I'd simply wear the same ones until they wore out. Eventually I stole some more from my other cousins over the years, along with one or two Pull-Ups. I think it was from those first diapers that I learned about the rubbing motions that would eventually allow me to "use" them for coming.

Borrowed my first one from my bedwetting brother, Cloth with plastic pants.

Took ages to get it pinned on anything like correctly, but managing eventually, the feeling after pulling the plastic pants up has never been forgotten.

I would have been about 12 years old, didn't realise that that strange feeling was sexual excitetment.

Could not wet it, but did in later wearings.

Soon after had my first ejakulation in a cloth diaper, I wear these days for need but still love the feeling.

i remember getting into a bag of diapers at my neighbor's place, and his elder sister who was babysitting me while i was over, telling me, "no, those aren't for you."

after that i stole them from the bag in my parent's closet while my sister was still wearing. i must have been 6 or 7. i don't think i understood it was sexual as i know it today, but i used to hump my bed with a diaper underneath me, and i liked to wear while sleeping. can't remember much about it. i remember stuffing 5 or 6 down my sweatpants one day and sneaking off to my room to hide them. but that's another story.

once i wet in one when my sister was in the shower and i had to go pee. i remember how good it felt...

after that i got rid of them, due to guilt. didn't have access to diapers from age 8 through age... 19 or so, when i happened upon one at my first job.

I was in care at the time of 'My First' and to flesh out the story above a bit (since I'm tipsy and less inhibited ), I wasn't exactly having the best time there in some god-awful children's home where they really did NOT understand my quirks and peculiarities and tried to break me of them by force. Without going into details that I know I'd come back and edit out tomorrow morning, I developed my AB side as a coping strategy for the shit I was dealing with there*. I'd already been experimenting with wetting when one night an older toddler (3/4) arrived in the middle of the night (which wasn't uncommon). It became apparent that he wasn't potty trained and I soon learned where the Pampers were kept & that they weren't under lock and key. The lure was irresistible and the rest is history

I think I probably stole 10-15 or so over a few weeks. I could *just* get them around my waist with a bit of help from some tape but it was seriously tight. This was before the days of stretchy side panels, etc. Of course, the lure of peeing in them was irresistible too even though I knew I had no way to get rid of them easily and before I knew it, I was caught, presumably because of the smell. That very night, I decided that I would have to "wait until I was 18" to move out on my own and have my nappies, even though I had no idea they made adult diapers. I kept that promise to myself and did exactly that

Funnily enough, despite that the 'care' staff obviously knew what I was doing, nobody ever challenged me about it, they just disappeared and the staff room where the nappies were stored started to be kept locked. Later in life, I acquired all of my records from the Education department under the Data Protection Act and found they included a fair wodge of my Social Services records as well. In amongst the *huge* piles of documents, I found a single page with some hastily scrawled hand written notes, one of which said "has stolen and soiled 11 nappies." That was all that was written. I'm almost certain I know who wrote that but I guess I can never be certain. What pissed me off wasn't that they wrote that down in my file but that nobody thought to think "why?" because if that wasn't a clue that they were seriously f**king me up, nothing was <sigh>

* That said, I firmly believe my AB/DL-ism was already inside me waiting to come out - after all, I have crystal clear memories from years before that point of wetting accidents (both mine and others) and the nice feelings of warmth , being cared for afterwards, and so on. Given that almost all of my earliest memories are 'pants wetting-related', clearly this was always something that was a part of me.

My first diapers were the old green depend that came in a red white and blue package. I now wish that they were still that thick. The first one I tried I used for everything, just to see how well it work or didn't work.

You may have a point but when one is age 6 and takes a disposable bought for your 3 year old brother, I don't think we have a theif in the making.
