Memoryblanket
Im still fairly inexperienced in buying diapers, only got local ones from supermarkets. Are there any diapers out there that really bring you back to childhood? That lovely crunchy feeling as you waddle about the place and preferably plastic backed. Sorry if this has been posted before, tried looking a bit and couldn't find much. Thank-you you beautiful group of people! P.S, if anyone wants to drop me a message im always up for a chat! Diaper Chase
Dry 24/7 are plain white and plastic backed. Link to comment
captureastronautbywomen
I love Bambinos, they remind me of the 1980s Plastic back Huggies; they are thick and the plastic back shell is crinkly!! mmmmm! Link to comment
UndieNites
If you're unable to purchase any of the specialty ones (such as those in the photo above) for whatever reason, Depends have a three-tape that's all plastic. 3 hours ago, daddyeric91 said: Take your pick Holy, jealous of that stockpile! ~UndieNites Link to comment
JustinDB87
I second the Abuniverse suggestion...the SDK's from there are single-taped replicas of late 90's Pampers....they also perform well too...ABU's Simple and Confidry 24/7's are also good if you're looking for higher performance. Kaliborio
I toilet trained quite late so I think I may be in a good position to say this - the diapers that remind me most of what I remember are Bambino Bellissimo and ABU Simple. Link to comment
AlluneedisLuvs
ABU super dry kids are really nice replicas of actual baby diapers. Tykable and bare bums have great baby design too Link to comment

UndieNites
Yeah, I'd definitely say to stay away from the Depends that are pull-on style - they aren't very good at all. The only good ones, in my opinion, are those all plastic ones with three tapes per side. ~UndieNites Link to comment
GNXL1
I think most of the ABUniverse diapers come pretty darn close to Pampers of the 80's and early 90's. Very Soft. 1 Link to comment
BabyBuck
Id have to say Preschool(cloth backed) from ABU. Theyre soft like all the ones we didnt have the chance to fit into. Or ABU simple(plastic backed). Link to comment
