Katie's Intruder

[Shy-Diapers]

"I don't want to talk about this!" Katie said feeling humiliated. "You didn't even give me a chance to explain myself before so why should I now?"

He looked her in the eye for a moment, and the shook his head.

"I was surprised, Katie.

[Shy-Diapers]

Katie sighed. She used to wet the bed all the time when she was little. She finally stopped when she was about 7. Every night from age 3-7 she'd wake up wet. Now it was all happening again.

[Ishigreensa]

After some time, her mom came up with her lunch, and she saw what her daughter was doing.

"What are you doing?" she asked her.

[Shy-Diapers]

Katie quickly pulled her shirt back down when her mom came in. She tried to act natural.

Cathy let her daughter alone, but she wasn't fooled.

Katie did have a mirror out. She had a full size mirror on her wall she used for getting dressed. She sighed and started eating. Nothing on her plate seemed to be very sugary. Her mom tried to get them to eat healthy.

Cathy thought about it.

"Honey, if you drink one now, then no more later, okay?"

She was very careful not to let her daughter have much soda.

"Why can't I have one can?" Katie asked with a sigh. She took the can out and poured some of it into a cup.

[Ishigreensa]

"And for good reason," Cathy said.

[Shy-Diapers]

Katie smiled at her dad a little. "A little soda won't kill me!" She said with a sigh. She went to her room to sketch some more.

[Ishigreensa]

(I thought she had a glass, because dad took her can and drank from it before pouring more soda into her class trying to sneak over Cathy's head without her realizing it.)

Her parents had no idea that Katie had thrown the soda out, and they continued talking downstairs while she went up to draw.

Katie jumped out of bed when her father came into wake her up. She had slept through her alarm the night before and now she was running late. It was obvious as soon as you entered the room that she had wet the bed again.

John decided he wasn't going to act like it was a big deal at that moment.

[Shy-Diapers]

John didn't do a good job of not shaming her. Katie sighed. She was thirteen. She knew how to clean herself up. She was already planning on showering. She stared at her feet until he left.

[Ishigreensa]

John walked off down stairs to talk to Cathy while they waited for their daughter to come down to breakfast.

[Shy-Diapers]

(I said she came downstairs.)

When Katie got downstairs she was still brushing her hair. She had already put her makeup on. Her stomach growled as she looked over the breakfast, trying to see if she should avoid ahthing because of the sugar.

Of course, they didn't really give her much sugar anyway because Cathy didn't like her daughter having too much sugar.

Katie saw the orange juice and was going to pour herself some like usual but she decided against it because of the sugar load. Milk had the same sugar amount. She sighed internally.

[Ishigreensa]

John nodded taking her at her word, but Cathy was wondering if she was really fine.

Katie shook her head. She hoped her mother didn't ask for an explanation.

[Ishigreensa]

John sighed and shook his head.

"Honey, you aren't exactly ready for contacts yet.

[Shy-Diapers]

"Dad that's three years! I'm responsible enough to have them!" Katie said with a sigh. She knew the contacts wouldn't fix everything but it would make her that much less ugly in her mind.

[Ishigreensa]

John sighed.

"The stupid society says that kids do a lot of things at younger age which seems to give kids permission over what their parents say is right," he told her.

[Shy-Diapers]

Katie sighed. "Whatever." She mumbled under her breath. She got up and went to get her sneakers on.
