Rubia Sam and the Brians' home

"I mean I guess I'm nice." Natalie says. "I don't understand the second thing you said" It made her a little confused.

[Ishigreensa]

Rubia shrugged.

"Sorry.

"Yeah." Natalie says. She wasn't sure who would be nice to her at school. Her school wasn't very diversed, and some kids were racist at her school. She kinda actually did want to help find her friends. But she still didn't know if she could trust her or anything. Rubia seemed nice.

Rubia scooted a little closer to the other girl and then put her head on the other girl's lap.

"Are you my sister, now?" she asked her.

Rubia had a certain air of innocence despite her past experiences.

"Well I don't know. I mean I'm your friend well... I don't know how to answer that." Natalie says. Rubia wasn't adopted or assuring she was just staying with them. She looked towards her parents for help.

[Ishigreensa]

Thomas shrugged.

She looked at Elizabeth.

"We are adopting her, right?" he asked her.

"Well Yeah. But I don't think this is the right time to talk about that in car... Especially since we didn't talk about it with Natalie yet." Elizabeth says.

[Ishigreensa]

Rubia smiled up at her new friend.

"I'm sorry.

Natalie frowned. She almost felt guilty, the younger girl sounded sad suddenly. "Well you're not alone. You're with us now." Natalie says.

[Ishigreensa]

She looked up at her.

"But you said you don't my sister, so I alone," she said.

[Skylove27]

"But I'm still your friend. You're not alone. Please don't..." Natalie paused after hearing that her family was in China. "Hey, it's gonna be okay." Natalie didn't know what else to say.

[Ishigreensa]

"... Dead," she finished her thought without saying the other words aloud.

[Skylove27]

Natalie felt awful and sorry for the girl. She couldn't help but lay the girl's head down to comfort her. "You have us now." She reassures her. She petted her hair and let her cry on her lap.

Rubia wrapped her around the other girl and buried her face in her stomach.

Natalie nodded. "You can cry to me when you need too." Natalie says.

[Ishigreensa]

Tom nodded.

"We're almost home, honey.

[Skylove27]

"Of course, Yeah I understand." Elizabeth nodded.

[Ishigreensa]

"Oh, I knew I forgot something," Tom said turning at the next corner away from the house.

"Of course I can. You don't think she'll wanna sleep in the same room with all of us though do you? It's interesting though. But since she's been in different homes, she's probably used to either having her own room or sharing a room. I don't know " Elizabeth rambled.

[Ishigreensa]

"I don't know if she'll want that or not.

[Skylove27]

Elizabeth nodded. "Alright, sounds good." She says.

[Ishigreensa]

They pulled into the parking lot and Tom turned around to look at the girls.

"Are you children ready to get some ice cream?" he asked them.

[Skylove27]

"You know I am Daddy!" Natalie says smiling. "Okay daddy. Rubia is gonna get the same as me."

"I think we Can let them eat it in the car, they seem to be enjoying there time right now." Elizabeth says as they pull into the parking lot."

"Actually, on second thought," he looked back at Natalie.

"Okay. We'll wait here." Elizabeth says. "Would you girls like to listen to the radio while we wait?" Elizabeth asks the girls.
