Nat
If you are around others and your bowels release its content into your diaper, do you apologize to others for the smell and then go change? Link to comment
Gump
Uhm, well...I guess it really depends. If I'm directly within 5 feet of anyone, absolutely. Especially if it's super noisy, which I tend Link to comment
Midwest Babygirl
I apologize when I'm wet and need to go change (just the way I am after years of emotional abuse and being told everything was my fault). Link to comment
deewet
If I am in a crowd, and have a messy event that is noticeable, I will often apologize simply saying, sorry-it happens sometimes. Link to comment
LittleFoxy
Only when it's noticable. If nobody notices then there's no need to bring it up and apologize. 1 Link to comment
dljim95
I do not intend to ever mess in public but I know it will and has happened many times, and will continue to happen. I know based on my diet my messy diapers are always soft and the smell is not that noticable, so if anyone would notice that I was messy I would say I was sorry and move away. I changet my public messy diapers asap, I do not stay messy in public as long as I would if I was at home. Link to comment
leakingdaily
if i feel the need to then yes, but i try to get away and change before any apology seems needed Link to comment
jack3295r
Over the years I have had too many accidents to count. When it's a BM, since I use Desitin (zinc oxide) for rashes and Nullo for odors it's rarely a problem. I wear Link to comment
HotDogg55
If it's noticed or will be noticed, yes of course. But if it doesn't have to be said, I'm not going to say it. I don't want to intentionally out myself. Although I've moved on, this still isn't the most confidence building thing in the world, to be an adult walking around with a load in your pants. It doesn't hold me back, but it's not confidence building, so no I'd never say unless it must be said. Link to comment

Kaliborio
Why would I? That's forcing my messing accident to take up even more of their mental real estate. I just change and clean myself up as soon as is practical. Link to comment
abm3
Only if someone says anything I'll just say I need diapers due lack of control and the bagpack is aways with me. No sense to tell them it's like saying "opps I farted, I have gas" but if really bad and I can smell it I'll say my bad I'm having gases. Link to comment
