Search Disabled

In our continuing effort to track the gremlins in this script I have disabled the search function, which also disables the "View New Content" feature.

Let me be the first to complain that loosing VNC is very freaking annoying, but it's a hoop we have to jump through for a few days to try and narrow down the issues.
