Bettypooh Posted January 6, 2015 Share Posted January 6, 2015 Any law needs to be well thought out (which isn't the norm but that is another topic). And the law and society gives licensed Doctors a little more leeway to work with. For instance, if your doctor deems that you are a threat to yourself or society at large they can invoke legal action whereas only a parent otherwise could. Perhaps that could have happened here, but a clearer law with clearer intent would make that more likely to happen. I hate the idea of more andmore and more laws but sometimes better than what we have is what is needed and that is how it's done:rolleyes: Link to comment
