I went to milanoo.com and looked at some of their lolita dresses. I saw one of their targeted ads after doing that, followed it, and now I see their ads all over the news sites. Normally, advertising on pages annoys me. But, this is great! I can read a page and have a cute treat waiting for me.

That sounds like some kind of adware. Those kinds of things are dangerous. Someone could be using a shared device and guess what.

When I signed up for an LG blog at Blobspot or Blogger; I forget which. I used my yahoo! account. Well, just to check, I looked in my Google network and there it was. I deleted my account ath that blog. Turned out the site was owned by Google and it found my Google Network account. I did not need that showing up there

There is a bit of difference between a standard company and a fetish one. I would have no problem with tracking ads from Adorama (NY) save for a bit of annoyance if they show up at an in-opportune time, place or manner. On the other hand, the same thing from Babykins or LL Medico or even DD would spook me big time. What if I had a non-LG aware guest and we were using the computer and a rubber panty or an LG-oriented ad showed up?

There is also the matter of colateral "damage". Tracking software is all over the place and some of it gets into the hands of the bad guys. If they see some of the places you frewquent, they may be able to build a profile of you that they otherwise could not, by latching the tracking ads from the companies that do such, and target you for something nasty. The better companies like Babykins and some of the ebay sellers set up an opt-in newsletter. Some years ago, before we had the full-fledge malware protection and before FireFox I visited the NAMBLA site to see if it was as I was told. Well, for awhile I kept getting random popups labelled "gayambushonline" with pornographic crap. I have had it all happen to me and at times, the only thing that has saved me from being cleaned out was keeping my head, a healthy dose of paranoid personality and not putting things on the machine that I do not want known

Try Firefox with popup blocker on and the Adblock add-on. I use both along with avast! and MalwareBytes

Pretty sure it's a cookie. If I cleared 'em I bet it'd be gone.. but then I'd lose my adorable ads! :) Even if it's google, they already know all about my fetishes, and amazon and ebay do too. Not worried about it.

That is exactly what it is. The problem is that most of your cookies are useful, they are what keeps you signed in at a place. FireFox add-ons and extentions and the popup blocker lets you make exceptions. there is a javascript that creates popups. Imagine having popups at rendom places at RUFFLES & RIBBONS GIRLS' HOMJE that are "ads" for fictional things that a visitor would like to have or read about and contemplate, like "LayTex rubber panties and sheets" or "Danielle DollyGirl babydolls"

Slightly off topic, but the guy who wrote the first code for a pop up ad did it 20 years ago! He said he was sorry and never thought it would be used like it is today or he would never had written that code.

I've looked at the stuff on Milanoo so many times it isn't funny. If I had the money, I'd probably buy everything in the Lolita section.
