sonofninasayers
I was just wondering about something, does anyone on here like to play with model trains such as hornby OO guage Link to comment
DailyDi
Would if I had the room to do it right Link to comment
ServantGirl_Katy
I never got into the train aspect of it, but I made some extra scratch in my early 20's doing scenery and HO scale landscapes for a local hobby store. Link to comment
sonofninasayers
I got a hornby OO guage and some of the engines that i got are the hogwarts express engine, Thomas, Gordon and percy. Link to comment

Little BabyDoll Christine
Here is something I have had in mind for just ever. Except for beer, firearms and cars, there is no combination like trains, https://www.google.com/#q=carnegie+collection+dinosaurs These particular prehistoric monsters are 1/40th semi-scale and http://www.thortrains.net/armymen/armymen1.htm How does it get any better than choo-choo'ing by a T-Rex or charging Triceratops and ripping off a hundred rounds form a ma deuce unless you have a http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p3984.m570.l1313&_nkw=toy+spacemen&_sacat=0&_from=R40 on board with a Buck Rogers heat raygun (he is probably busy with the incoming Pteranodon) unless you grab up a few https://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=pluto+platter&btnG=Google+Search And put the spacement aboard, throw that in the mix for a classic 1959 Toho Studios B-movie just sooo ready to happen? Trains, soldiers, dinosaurs and invaders form Mars: Can you say "a whole afternoon of little boy Parad...oops...Heaven"? Link to comment
babychubby
I have an ho scale layout in my house goes from one bedroom into the hallway then our to the living room then back. Link to comment
sonofninasayers
That sounds cool. I'm hoping to have a circus type layout if I ever get my railway set up and if I can ever get hold of anything such as circus rolling stock. I can just imagine Thomas pulling the circus train now. But I have got a few circus stalls from the Thomas and friends Accessories range Link to comment
Diapered Wookie
I have some HO stuff. Link to comment
Wet Knight
I have about 400 feet of 'Live Steam' "0" gauge double track around the garden. Link to comment

tommyp
Oh wow! That's a really cool setup and it looks like you've put a lot of work into it. Well done my friend. Link to comment
Dirty Diaper/Maxipad Lover
I've got some O scale stuff, mostly Lionel, but typically stick to simple temporary layouts. I do have a "permanent" layout that I'd like to reassemble, but it needs some work and I'd need to figure out how to fit it where I have space for it. I wouldn't really say this has any relation to why I come to DD, but I do enjoy the model railroad stuff that I have when I have it set up. I also have at least one G scale set from when I was a kid, but I don't think it's been run in quite some time. Link to comment
oliver d
In my younger daysI had a very large TT scale set up of mostly East German and East European stuff but it never really was my intrest so most likely its still in boxes at my Perants house in South Africa. Link to comment
diapered_in_wisc
I do "S" scale modeling, but not trains. (Mostly because trains in that scale are OUTRAGEOUS in price and I already spend enough on the stuff I do buy. LOL!) My collection is cars and trucks, but for the most part tractors and farm equipment. Hopefully someday I will get to build a layout, but until then I'll just keep detailing and building little projects. Link to comment

Nyte Kitsune
Had to get rid of mine, was getting one thru one of those mail collectibles "Moonlight Express" but no longer had space for it, live in a micro studio apt, barely room for anything, certainly not a train set. Someday I would love to own a place where I could build a large scale diorama. But at Min Wage It'll be years til that will ever happen. Link to comment
Galaxie 66
I have always loved trains ,I use to have some HO scale and always wanted to build a layout but never did . Now a have a few N gauge trains but nothing to really speak of. Link to comment
barnburner
I want to get some N scale stuff due to limited room for a full train set setup, Looking at some Kato trains but they are expensive! Link to comment
