Elfy
I'm the opposite, if someone else mentions anything to do with that in real life I get all nervous and find it hard to talk about... I can barely say the word "nappy" to anyone outside of my partner Link to comment

willnotwill
I heard this snippet once when I was at a local sub shop. Link to comment
Baby Brian
It's kind of like hearing you name. You can be oblivious of another's conversation but if they say your name (or diaper) you pick it up immediately. Link to comment
babylin
I was in WallMart when I heard this announcement: Link to comment

softndry
Count me in on catching my immediate attention when "diaper" is used in conversations. Link to comment
Zander
In the UK its very rare to actually hear "diaper", so I do normally double-take when I hear it. I wouldn't say the word excites me or anything else of that nature, more that its just so uncommon it gets noticed. Link to comment
diaperedandspanked
Yep, "diaper" is a word that gets my attention, especially fun with the commercials on TV focusing on adult diapers and the Mrs. & I are both watching. Now that I'm wearing 24/7, she even pointed out the Depends at Costco and asked me if I had thought about giving them a try. Link to comment
Loveable_guy
Yes the word diaper is a trigger for me also. A while back an ailing family member was disusing the need to wear and so wanted to offer my product suggestions but I was afraid it would be too obvious and wonder why I knew so much about diapers. :dlb
I am very self concious to say the word diaper out loud, even when i'm alone. Link to comment

erevu
It's funny how it's based on culture too. "Nappy" does nothing for me, but "diaper" is a trigger word. Link to comment
