Mischa
Talk to your doctor about the issue and ask for a prescription, if the doctor is aware of your condition, the scrip should be pretty straightforward Link to comment
Billiardnut
why would you need a prescription? Diapers are readily available, just search "adult diaper" and you will have plenty of companies to choose from. I have even Link to comment
Daniellexxx
I'm urge incontinent and after going to my doctor I was then refered to the local continence clinic to be assesed. The nurse asked questions like how many accidents I had per day, was it full bladder/ bowel leakage and how it affected my daily life. They then decide what sort of protection would fit you best. I get my diapers delivered every few weeks and I'm supposed to change 4 times a day. I was given lille suprem plus and apart from having a few problems with the baggy waist band I haven't leaked much. Link to comment
Nat
When people want a prescription for diapers, they mean have their insurance cover it so they wouldn't have to pay for them. Link to comment

Nat
The OP has a medical need for them, not for fantasy. So you have gotten lot of incontinent clients who thought your insurance would cover their diapers? Link to comment
foundationbaby
Yep. It is rather sad as most of them are kids with severe disabilities. I was told by a provider one time that medicaid does cover diapers at 100% but if they have group insurance than they won't cover them. Link to comment
Nat
So you guys don't cover diapers for kids with disabilities? So parents have to buy them out of their pocket? Link to comment

Red Barchetta
Weather or not insurance will pay for diapers or not depends on the policy - I can tell you Medicaid definitely will, they have a limit on how much they will pay for them, but they definitely will. Link to comment
littleJaina
What about a none special needs child that is incontinent? Technically, being incontinent would qualify as a "special need" once you get past the age where toilet training is typical. Link to comment

MOLEABE
Hey all if you want to talk about the insurance and being cheap My insurance would have paid 23 cents per cloth diaper and only allowing purchase of one per month. Link to comment
DiapermanAl
Im getting the select plastic backed diapers. And the tranquility top liner con tour booster pads through medicade. Found a supplier who offered a decent range of products. The most absorbent they had was the attends breathable. But i like plastic backed. They also cover disposable and reusable under pads.
