"Regression In Defense Of Ego"

So after a lot of sessions - which have been really, really helpful - I finally said something today that caused my shrink to tell me about Freuds concept of "Regression in defense of ego" which means in the most basic terms, he thinks I've done well to compensate for issues in my childhood (nowhere near as severe as most others here) by wearing diapers. Cool!

He's been supportive of me wearing diapers right from the start, but this was an added twist.
