Bedwetters?

Hi,

Just wanted to know how many other real bedwetters are out there.

I never really stopped wetting the bed. Tried to stop using meds once and hated it. Would much rather wear a nice thick nappy to bed than take the meds.

Who else out there is a real bedwetter?

I have returned to being an occasional bed wetter. I was a late bedwetter until my late teens and then stopped. It started again in my 40's after some medical issues which forced me to take daily medication. Some of the side effects are the diretic, which gets me up several times at night.

I wear diapers now for protection and to get a good night sleep. It is funny my body seems to know when i am diaperred and allows me to pee without waking. When I am not diaperred I just have to get up 3-4 times at night. I think occasionally when not diaperred my body thinks I am an dthen an accident occurs.

Yes, wetting the bed became real for me full time about 10 years ago having been a rare bedwetter in my early years at times such as holidays when stress levels may have risen.

Am now incontinent about half the time with good days and bad days, but no matter what unless I drink almost nothing at all during the day will be up to the toilet about fifteen times a night-not condusive to any form of sleep!

So decided to don a nappy at night time "just in case" but this made no difference as I still had to get up to use the loo all the time as I found it was impossible to wee in my underwear-cloth nappy with nice tight fitting plastic pants.

Then one night I had a little too much to drink while celebrating and just before bed put on my nappy and plastic pants as usual, then just crashed out and woke up the next morning with a very heavy and hot nappy, wow-I was at that point hooked with the use of nappies and plastic pants.

Now I drink a fair amount before bed because I have found that by doing so I will sleep right through without even the slightest need to get up and go to the loo.

I wet the almost every night until I was 16 I had to wear goodnites to bed but I liked diapers since I was like 6 years old so diapers dident bother me except at sleep overs talk about nervous .I still have accedents every now and then so I'm not a bedwetter realy still but it happens some times.

Well, I have accidents 24/7, so logically, that includes wetting the bed

I am also diabetic and am in nappies 24/7. Wasn't happy about it at first but because I could wet at anytime, it allows me to lead a normal life so am quite happy about them now.

I have been a bedwetter all my life. I wore gerbers as a boy untill I outgrew them at age 4. Then just wet untill I was like 7 then mom got me toddler diapers to tuck into my underpants. They soaked up most of the pee but I still wet the bed. Mom took the diapers away at 15 because she was sick of finding them behind my bed wet and sticky. My wetting tapered a bit and then when I moved out I figured that if I was going to wet why not wear adult diapers. I wore attends for a few years and now am an avid cloth diaper man. I don't have to worry about wetting the bed and I love to wear cloth diapers so it works. Cloth smell the best!

Wet my bed almost every night until around the age of 14 or 15 - but it would be in my sleep, I would go to bed dry and wake up in a lake. I outgrew it around 15 but the last few years I have been trying to re-train my bladder to let go whenever it wants. Now I'm completely dependant on diapers, both day and night.

i stoped wetting the bed when i was like 13 but i was still wearing pull ups and belted undergarments and some times even the old fashioned cloth diaper with rubber panties but now i just wear pull ups or the breifs for fun.

I`m a lifelong bedwetter too due to Cerebral Palsy. I wear cloth diapers with plastic pants nightly for my wetting. !`m age 57.

I have been a bed wetter all my life. Now middle aged. I find it is not a big deal. As long as you diaper yourself properly. never had any problems.

You would be amazed at just how maNY ADULT AND TEEN BED WETTERS EXIST.

My urologist told me some figures once a few years ago and I was amazed.

No one who bed wets should be concerned as there are a considerable prportion of the population who do likewise.

The actual numbers of bed wetters figures are unknown but believed to be about one in four!!!

was a bed wetter till almost 17 then hurt at 19 and back in diapers for life so yes still wet the bed every night

I wet the bed as a kid and started liking diapers when around 10. So I didn't want to stop bedwetting - that way I'd still have diapers and wouldn't have to give them up since I couldn't buy them myself at that age. And nobody would know I liked them.

So I did stuff like wet myself in the morning deliberately on the days I happened to wake up dry. It worked, but it was a big secret in our family which was okay with me.

Still wet the bed a couple of nights a week. Just wanna keep a good thing "going."

Boy does Craig's experiences ring a bell... i to grew up bedwetting and was put back in night diapers when i

was 9... it didnt take me long to start liking the extra attention and waking up in a dry bed...although a soaked diaper. as i got older i to would wet a dry diaper ... my parents never knew i had dry nights. I

still wear night diapers and probably will as long as im alive and kicking.

I was a bedwetter until 16 and then started having daytime accidents. I got married wearing a diaper under my tux and have been wearing one since. My wife will change me most of the time and make sure I am dry before going to sleep. When it comes to "play time" She will help change me and give me a bath which helps get in the mood and then we are able to "play".

I was recently diagnosed with OAB (overactive bladder) which is causing my wetting problems and was given a prescription for Detrol. I have been wetting for many years and do not know how this drug will work on me. Has anybody used Detrol? and how has it worked?

Yep, add me to that list too. Not a constant "every night" thing but on again off again. It gets really bad if I drink any amount of alcohol, even cough syrup.

Drinking alcohol gives me diarrhea.

Also, drinking gatorade before bedtime makes me pee like a firehose! Sometimes I'll get up at least 6 times during the night to pee if I drink a large cup of gatorade before bedtime. Kool-Aide Koolburst lime drinks make me have to pee every 15 or 20 minutes
